I think The Jayhawks may be my favorite band right now.
Another band I love is Roxy Music. I had the priviledge of seeing them in August 2019. They were so great. I can't believe Bryan Ferry is 70.

Yay! A Jayhawks fan! We have seen and met them multiple times. They are really nice people and great musicians. I think the first time we saw them was around 2002. The band The Thorns opened-they are a trio with Matthew Sweet, Pete Yorn and I'm blanking on the third person, but their harmonies are wonderful. They only released one cd, but I have played it hundreds of times.

The Jayhawks were on CBS Saturday morning months ago. The clip should be on the CBS website somewhere.

I am envious that you saw Roxy Music!

I go through phases of favorite music to listen to, so I'll list those bands I've listened to on repeat-

Throwing Muses
Built to Spill
Supergrass
Guided by Voices
Robyn Hitchcock
Elvis Costello
Boards of Canada
David Byrne & Talking Heads
The Sea & Cake
Yo La Tengo

HSIM- That's so cool you saw Roxy Music! I would have LOVED to have seen them when Brian Eno was still with the band. But, he left the band in 1973 and I was born in 1972, so it wouldn't have been memorable for me at that age.
