I mentioned how much I enjoy Lauren Eckstrom’s YouTube channel on this thread before. Last week I had my ribs bruised during a chiropractic adjustment. It was very painful to move.

Yesterday I was feeling better but not up for a strenuous Yoga Practice so I tried this rare for Lauren gentle practice https://youtu.be/SboyHVItwkY. I really enjoyed it.

I know Kat Gates Buettner’s step workouts have been mentioned here a few times. I really enjoy her step classes. Sunday is normally my cycling day but the weather is miserable here and I gave up my Peloton subscription for the summer and needed some cardio.

So I did this https://youtu.be/Eg0xGfUKt7o Kat workout. The 60’s and 70’s music was fantastic.

I adore Kat's workouts. I've been so worried that she will stop or reduce her YouTube workouts now that she has gone back to teaching in-person classes, but she did release a new Pride music themed one last week, so there is hope. I've noticed at least one other step instructor (Gianna Storey) who hasn't released a YouTube workout in a few weeks.

Also, last week, Steve SanSoucie posted the final step workout from his gym. Sadly, he has had to close due to lost revenues from COVID:

Thanks for posting Steve San Soucie’s workout. I’ve never heard of him but will check it out. That’s too bad about his gym closing.

I really hope Kat continues to post step workouts. Her workouts are the reason I got back into step after two decades away from it. I always make an effort to let the ads play (even though they drive me nuts) because I know it’s important for instructors to generate income.

Move with Nicole who I adore is doing a 7-day series called Move with Me. She posted 5 new workouts so far. I did Day 1 today. It’s a fantastic 55-minute Pilates workouts https://youtu.be/9tVNYGx4FeI. I highly recommend it.

Full disclosure - I have not tried that specific workout so I can't vouch for that one (he does state that it is unedited), but I have done several of his other step workouts and enjoyed them. Not quite Kat-level choreography, but still very good.

I try to let the full ads play as well, ever since I read on another thread that it generates more revenue for the instructors. For me, a minute of annoyance is a small price compared to the value of the workouts.
