Question Classical Stretch question

Which CS season has the gentlest/slowest stretches but not to the point of boredom or where you're waiting for the next stretch? I'm looking for overall stretching maybe with shoulder and hip emphasis. After my herniated disc surgery (neck) I'm very tight but when I've done more fast moving stretches like in Essentrics Total Body, JS Fusion workouts and Ellen Barrett it flares things up. I also have a flare if I try to force/push myself to deepen a stretch.

Any suggestions?? I've never done CS before, only a few Essentrics. Thanks!

I’d recommend season 11, it’s slower and gentler. If you can stream, ETV has a free 14 day trial and you can try a few out before you buy.

I like 11 and 13. Does your local PBS carry Classical Stretch? You could also do like Pam suggested and try out ETV.

Miranda produced a 30 Day Fast Track program/DVDs as part of a PBS pledge drive donation gift--Aging Backwards 3. I got it last spring and have been doing the 30 Day program this month.

I have done workouts from most of the seasons, and this Aging Backwards 3 30 Day Fast Track program has the slowest (but not maddeningly slow) and most controlled workouts I've seen. I love it. I'm wondering if maybe I can simply do it forever and ever and ever, even though I have severe workout ADD.

If your dvd player will let you do it, try playing the workouts at a slower speed.

It's not something I can do with every workout, but with things like CS that I just want to slow down a bit sometimes, it's very handy.
