Vantreesta, I am so sorry for your loss.

RIP Mari. You bought light and inspiration to the world. Thank you.

I was "friends" with Mari on Facebook and learned about it when I saw the condolences pouring in.

At this point the only non-Facebook link I can find is a click bait obit.

Thank you all. I didn't mean to take the focus off Mari at all. It's just still so fresh for me that I guess when I heard about Mari passing so soon after my mom I couldn't help sharing. This disease robs a person of so much of themselves and there's nothing they or anyone else can do to stop it.

When I get back to working out, Mari will be top on my list to workout with. Her Bun & Thigh Sculpting is one of my most-used workouts.

Well this is confusing - I thought all of the condolences from Mari's friends on her personal Facebook page were credible.

Her niece just posted on Facebook that Mari is still with us. She was admitted to Hospice yesterday, and there was a celebration of her life on Zoom which probably confused people.

I apologize! So sorry.

I guess I did wonder a little at the wording in the post Sand linked bc it said she was "beginning the process of transitioning back..." but I thought it was just a wording choice.

Here is the exact message that her niece posted on Facebook.

"This is Mari's niece. There has been a lot of misnformation being posted. Mari is still with us. We celebrated Mari's life yesterday on Zoom and it was very beautiful. And the outpouring of love is extraordinary, but I need to take all these posts down. Mari went into hospice yesterday and we will announce when she officially passes. Our family is still with Mari at her bedside and receiving premature sympathies. Please respect our privacy at this time. Thank you!"

I'm sorry for the loss of your mom, Vantreesta. I work in ALS research and hope to contribute to finding better treatments and even a cure for this devastating disease. It seems to attack only the nicest people. Keeping Mari and her family in my thoughts.

Gale, thank you so much. And thank you for the work you're doing toward finding a cure. I pray better treatments and eventually a cure are found. No one should ever have to go through this disease. God bless you.

Thank you Sand. I didn't realize Mari was in mainstream performances.

Smooth Criminal - starting at 3:30, I'm pretty sure she is the blonde holding the bottle.
