Workouts similar to "Bendy Body"? Tangoflex?

I have and love all of the Fit and Bendy workouts, though most of "Get Bent" is too advanced for me. I especially enjoy "Bendy Body" and am interested in getting more DVDs along that line.

I thought the first Lastics might be similar yet different, but that one bored me and there was a serious dread factor... What about Tangoflex? Is it closer to "Bendy Body" or Lastics? Anything else I should consider?

Thank you!

Bendy Body is really in a class of it's own
Unfortunately

I'd suggest getting Get Bent and just do a bit at a time.

I haven't tried Advanced Lastics. I did not like Lastics at all

I have tangoflex. I'll give it another look!

And I'll look around for anything new

I did come across something with the moderately frightning name of "contorture"

Yup!
I have it and like it but it doesn't really allow for progression like the Fit And Bendy vids

At least for me :/

It is a good one to have in a flexibility collection

I do have the Lastics DVDs & like them well enough, but it's hard to motivate myself to use them often. I've done the free F&B Shoulder Supplemental on their YT channel. RE their DVDs, is one better than the other?

I just looked at "Get Bent" again and recall being able to do the warm up, cool down, shoulder section, and some of the leg and hip stretches. I suppose I could alternate those exercises with "Bendy Body" and "Shoulder School" for now...Sadly, I'm a long way from doing splits and backbends!

The pricing on the "Contorture" workouts is even more frightening than the name!

I came across Mobility Rx on Amazon awhile back, but I haven't seen any clips yet.

NoraKate, please get back to me after you check out Tangoflex...The clip on Total Fitness DVDs looks intriguing.

Oops! I missed this post earlier..."Get Bent" is definitely more advanced and focuses a lot on splits and backbends, while "Bendy Body" is a general stretching workout that can be made easier or harder depending on your own flexibility.

If you liked the YouTube workout you mentioned, then you may be interested in Fit & Bendy's "Shoulder School" DVD, too.

SeekingWorkouts, thanks for the additional info. I thought Bendy Body might be the better choice for me. I have considered Shoulder School too, but the clips I've seen look so dry--is it all voiceover? In the YouTube supplemental clips, Kristina teaches live.
