I know- it is an unusual circumstance, and your very presence in the process was an uplifting visible response for the volunteers! At 66 hours in my right armpit deep inside was very sore and hurtful. Since others reported this, I'm not alarmed. Am resisting urge to poke and prod. Did light Cardio warmup and Tai Chi today. Tailbone still painful. Glad for weekend at home!

Over 24 hours after my second Pfizer vaccine. The only side effect was a sore arm at the injection site. It was more sore than the first time. It's feeling a bit better this evening.

I've read symptoms can occur in the first seven days, but the majority are in the first 12-24 hours. So I am cautiously optimistic.

I am tired, but that's due more to not sleeping well last night. Twelve hours would have been 2:30 am, and I was too anxious to fall asleep. I'm feeling better today, after a long nap.

I think my stomach issues were also anxiety. I'm feeling more normal this afternoon. I think stressing out about it was harder than the actual vaccine. I normally deal with stress with exercise, but that wasn't an option this time. I'm just glad to have it over with!

I guess I'm having a delayed reaction now to my 1st Pfizer shot. I was fine for the first 9-10 days. Barely had anything after the shot, and I was quite surprised by this since I usually have horrible reactions (tetanus, flu shots, etc). On Sunday, day 10, I felt warm and general malaise (no fever though). Really couldn't do much. By Monday afternoon, day 11, my right hand nerves (my pinky and side of hand) started to feel pain, kind of like electric shocks. I also felt this in my right ear. (I had the shot in my right arm) The nerve pain in my hand actually woke me up multiple times last night. I still had it this morning (day 12) so I called my doctor. The nurse spoke with him and he thinks it's an inflammatory response to the vaccine even though it's 12 days after. No fever and no swelling, just nerve pain only in my hand that comes and goes.

He said some people just get delayed responses, no real reason for it. But it's concerning to me since I've never had anything like this (I don't get flu shots and am barely ever sick with viruses). He said to just give it a couple days and if it's not better then to come in to see him on Friday (so 14 days after). He said most delayed responses resolve by 14 to 18 days days so I guess we'll see... one more thing to give me even more anxiety!

Lori, I’m sorry you had that reaction. I hope the nerve pain clears up soon.

That is interesting, Lori. Last week from Wed-Friday I had queasiness, dizziness, fatigue and a headache. I'm not sure if it was a delayed reaction to the Pfizer vaccine I got on 4/13 or just something else....

I'm getting my 2nd shot on Monday....so we shall see what comes of that.

nerve pain sucks.
I have been living with random nerve pain for years and about the only culprit a pain specialist suspected was prolonged use of Pfizer's statin Lipitor.

Obviously, Pfizer was my last choice.
I had been scheduled for the J&J on the day it became paused and then found an opening for Moderna and had the first dose with no side effects 10 days ago.
My husband got the J&J before the pause with no side effects and son is getting his today.

Hope your case resolves quickly.

Thanks everyone, I'm supposed to get my 2nd shot next Friday (5/7) so that's just increasing my anxiety about all of this too. I guess my poor immune system is still trying to figure out the 1st one, 12 days after the fact. It's so odd, I was feeling quite good until about 7-8 days after. Then I had some bad chills before bed on day 8 and I figured it was my usual perimenopause chills (I get chills instead of hot flashes). I also felt a little dizzy on Saturday day 9. I worked in my garden on that morning and I thought maybe it was some new potting soil that didn't smell right (mold perhaps?). Maybe my immune system is just in overdrive at the moment. The nerve pain in my hand is excruciating, I really hope this just kind of resolves itself...

I chose not to exercise for either dose of pfizer

I did to give my body it's best chance at building an immunity.

My bio chem daughter is in college, so not at home to tell me whether that makes sense or not, she usually has acquired domaine knowledge to let me know.
