I just did Sculpture upper body yesterday seated as my back has been bothering me when standing for too long. It worked fine, although there were some moves done lying down. I think you can probably modify many upper body workouts to do seated.

ETA: Getting Better is ideal. I did this while recovering from foot surgery twice.

If you subscribe to Kelly's RAW streaming she just posted a seated upper body strength workout.

This is all great stuff. I didn't know there were so many options.

i second Getting Better. there's one on ebay for around $30 and Margaret sells the download version on her site for <$20.

Leslie Sansone's shortcuts UB is done on a chair. the warm up is gentle walking but you could easily do your own thing. you can heavy up with this workout too.

p.s. Shortcuts LB is all floor work if that suits you.

This a weightless barre workout that Linda does while sitting on the floor, so could obviously be done from a chair as well.

This seems so obvious when you say it but I swear it never once occurred to me. I do Barlates upper body workouts often (they are surprisingly hard) and even lately when it has been hard for me to get up and down off the floor because of my knee, it never even entered my mind to do them on a chair. That's how programmed I am that I MUST...DO...WORKOUT...EXACTLY....AS...FILMED....
