Hello Watulans!

Horusosirus - I have the Fit Tower. It was called the "Turbo Tower" when I bought it.

Kate - More prayers and hugs to you and your family. What are hard road you are on!

FoLV - I have a rotation template that I use. More often than not, I stand there staring at my collection (DVDs or downloads to my iPad) that day and figure out what I want to do that fits the template. Not much for planning ahead anymore.

Chelle - Yay on the mobility improvements!
"badda Dinka dink!"

cataddict - I'm convinced that DH has sleep apnea. I have discussed it with him several times over the years and he refuses to seek treatment. He has other sleep issues that I think are from PTSD. The more wifey asks about something, the less chance hubby will do anything about it. {rolleyes}

I moved into my own bedroom 15+ years ago.

lavna- -Healing thoughts coming your way!

I saw the two specialists about my poor cataract results yesterday There was a lot to take in and it's hard to talk about now. I hope to post more later.

Nathalie. Glad you had a successful surgery! Very creative on the rolling chair! Hoping you continue to heal quickly and can put some weight on that foot within the next few weeks. My daughter is hoping the same. Thank goodness she didn’t require surgery.

VVfer. Hugs. Sounds like a difficult appointment.

Kate. You’re always in my thoughts and prayers as well as your son.

Oh, Nathalie, yay on the surgery AND the creative chair use!! I'm so glad your other ankle isn't broken.

BabyW, I'm so very sorry about the specialists and hard to swallow news. We're here to support you whenever you're ready. Hugs!!

Today I finally pulled the shrink wrap off Tonique Addicted To Movement and did the whole 88 minutes. Well, 'did' is a loose term, considering how many freaking times I stood there, gaping at the screen, gasping, dripping, and wondering what kind of robot she is and/or anyone out there is who can get through ALL THOSE REPS without stopping. Oh, my, something I will have to work up to and now I'm taking it on as a personal challenge. What makes me feel even worse about my, um, ability to (not) keep up is reading that this is supposedly one of her 'easier' workouts. Hah.

Stay fierce, Watulans, hugs all the way around!!

Kittybug that must be one TOUGH workout if you had to take breaks. I’m sure you gave it your all and good Lord, it’s 88 minutes long so that has to count for something.

Today I wanted something fun. I ended up with KCM Cardio Blast, the athletic step workout. This is one of Kelly’s earlier thirty minutes to fitness workouts. It was fun with easy to follow step moves . The music was familiar from other workouts though I could not say from what.

Sending lots of good thoughts to you Nathalie. I’m so glad your surgery is over and the recovery can begin.

Hi All!

I saw two specialists at a well-known eye clinic at UCLA. They did a pretty thorough exam and said the lens was well-placed and saw no bad things in there. They didn't seem concerned about the jiggling/flickering. I have three choices. 1) Try (yet another) bifocal eyeglass prescription. 2) Get a monovison IOL (inter-ocular lens) implanted into the other eye to try and make up for the premium lens that is not working that well. 3) Remove the premium lens and put in another one. They strongly discouraged this last one as explanting an IOL can be very complicated and cause more trouble than you had before.

The cataract story is actually quite long and goes back to January of 2020. I can't type that much. (Probably a good thing.)

I'm so tired it's hard to decide anything. I guess I'll try the new lens prescription. I'm in no hurry to have another surgery (go bad).

As for workouts, I've mostly been doing Body Project.

Back to be more sociable to my Watulan friends soon!

Kittybug- Wow! Kudos to you for completing Addicted to Movement. ATM is one of her easier and earlier workouts but it is long! ATM is one of my favorite Tonique workouts. Sylvia can be brutal! Try the two hour Femme Fatale. l did it once all the way through and I was wiped out. Now I just do it in segments or I use short segments as a warm up (LOL).

BabyW, I totally get being so tired that making decisions is overwhelming. I would agree on starting with the simplest solution. Hang in there!

Horusosiris, yeah, easier? Oye. Seriously scared to try her other workouts I have on my shelf...and of course, now I'm looking at getting more. I think I must just enjoy being punished. That workout kicked my bum, seriously and I would NOT call what I did completing it but barely getting through most of it, hah!! It was not pretty.

But that makes me think I should pursue her workouts because they are just so different from the other stuff I've been doing and that has to be a good change-up. Maybe. I am SO SORE today. Today is Dental Max anyway so that's a good excuse for a day off working out, hah!!!

BabyW, thanks for the Mr. Rolleyes revival! Sometimes he is just necessary. First, I'm so sorry for all you are dealing with concerning the options for your eyes. I can't imagine how frustrating it must be to not get a choice that will absolutely, positively fix the issues. I don't blame you a bit for not wanting to undergo another surgery, especially since the first one has caused you so much problem. I also agree with your choice to try the new lens prescription. Sending {{hugs}}. I get it about DH being stubborn about pursuing the possibility of sleep apnea. My DH resisted for YEARS until after he had a stroke. The sleep study was done at our home so he could sleep in his own bed and the results were definitely eye opening as his was a lot more severe than we expected! The machines also aren't like they used to be---his is just a strap and a small mask---not the giant face covering that makes one look like The Fly. Anyway I hope that your DH eventually decides to do a sleep study as until we did we had no idea how dangerous the condition could be and how easy it would be for him to adjust to the mask. And one more thing to complete this WAY TOO LONG paragraph. Please don't worry about not being Baby Sunshine here! We've all had our ups and downs and downs and downs and this group has been a great source of understanding and support. Share what you are comfortable sharing, and we will be here for you.

FN1, I admit I raised my eyebrows when you said you were going to do Tonique. I have always heard these are crazy hard and have been too chicken to even try one! So good for you, no matter how many breaks you took or how long it took, you got through it so YAY!

Yesterday I revisited Tracey Staehle's Strictly Upper Body from her Parts DVD. I give it mixed reviews, mostly because I wasn't sure what to expect as I really didn't remember the workout at all. She used very light weight, too light for me even with the high number of reps, and I guess I wasn't expecting high reps to begin with. I also wasn't expecting to use the BOSU, but that was a welcome surprise as I haven't used it in awhile. So today rather than doing Jari Love's Ripped and Jacked lower body I'm gonna try a Heather Robertson lower body since I "think" she uses more high reps and I want to be somewhat consistent in my randomness.

Waves and positive energy to all Watulans!
