The Shape of Things to Come

I know a few of you have ordered the Shape of Things to Come (Kelly Coffey)...anyone want to share their impressions? Reviews, please!!!

I posted this on the other thread earlier:

This morning I did her Shape of Things to Come DVD and was very impressed. I liked the fact that she only used dumbells and a step for the workout-- too much equipment drives me crazy. The Sculpting workout had nice variety and the cardio portions got your heart thumping with basic (but not boring) moves. Its a definite winner. I'm trying the step workout tomorrow!

I did this workout this morning and was very impressed with Kelly Coffey and this workout.

This workout managed to keep my heartrate up until we went down to the floor to do chest and abs.

The workout incorporates strength training with intervals of cardio, which Kelly refers to as active rest. The cardio sections are meant to get your heartrate up! The strength workout consist of rounds and each muscle group is worked twice, and the exercises used for each muscle group is repeated twice. Functional Fitness exercises, traditional strength exercises, and even traditional strength exercises with a twist are used throughout the entire workout.

I must post when I see Kelly's thread!!

I did this yesterday. A very impressive workout! It is a cardio sculpt for 44 min. and then for another 10 minutes chest and abs on the floor. She covers all the major muscle. My heart rate was nicely up and I was feeling the good burn. I used 8 and 10 lb since it was my first time doing this dvd. Today, I can still feel it all over, so very nicely!

I can't wait for more of Kelly's work! She is a great instructor, so encouraging, and efficient. I am extremely happy with these workouts!

I ordered and got the paypal confirmation
Since I cannot put an US address in the Paypal option since I live in Italy, I emailed her explaining to ship please to my mail forwarding service address etc etc but got no reply ...
Do U have an email address where I can try again my luck !

I'm glad the reviews are so favorable. I ordered both of Kelly's workouts from Collage. They do look fun!

Are there compound exercises? (lunge with a bicep curl?)

I really hate compound moves.

Another fan here too. I agree with everything already mentioned. Her transitions from weights to cardio are quick but timed perfectly plus and you get a good workout the first time.

Missy - No they are not compound moves at all. It is a circuit workout - just cardio or just weights.
