I know I can potentially have shoulder issues, so I tend to automatically modify many shoulder moves. Kelly has used heavier weights than I am able to use for some of her shoulder moves, but so does Cathe. I think that most instructors (including both Kelly and Cathe) stress that if it doesn't feel right to your body, don't do it or modify.

And that's why I don't do KCM. There is no point in modifying most of my workout. If I am going to spend time FF through a workout or modifying, I might as well either pick a different workout or do my own thing. I personally find it useless and a waste of money when I have to essentially create my own workout from a DVD. What's the point?!

KCM requires too much modification for my needs. IMO, it's money down the drain and pointless considering the 1000s of DVDs on the market today.

ITA!
I find a lot of her 'unique' and 'creative' moves to be questionable as far as safety, and I agree somewhat about her posture on them.

I enjoy her kickboxing, but have learned to avoid her weight workouts (which I really WANTED to like because I love her personality and style.

Yep, I agree. And I also enjoy her kickboxing (and TLC) workouts...she's fabulous in those.

Yes, I really like Kelly's kickboxing, boxing, and step kickboxing/boxing workouts.

x 3 (or is it 4?)

I have a previous shoulder injury (I obviously have a limited shoulder ROM, as Artist described upthread) and I avoid Kelly's weight work. I traded one of her DVDs after previewing it, because the shoulder moves looked way too 'unique' and 'creative' for me.
