Me too, DCW! I'm going to do the 40s challenge. I'm going to do Sahra's new workout today, looking forward to the live one tomorrow.

Who else is doing the challenge?

I'm doing the 40s. I did Sahra's new workout today -- I thought it was a bit hard. It was slower and more concentrated and I found it harder than the ones I've been doing lately. But it was great to have a full-length new workout from Sahra! I have a feeling I'll be sore from this one tomorrow. I really wanted more stretching in this workout, especially on the chair.

I had no idea she was in her 40s, but she's got to be in her early 40s though right? If she's in her late 40s like me, I'll be even more depressed...

I did Miranda's live workout for the 60's and part of the one for the 70's today.

I love Sahra's workout.

I am planning to do this! I am coming back to Essentrics after some time away... At one time, I did CS/Essentrics nearly daily (for probably 1.5-2 years) and felt fantastic... I drifted away starting with probably Season 11, when they seemed to find their niche with a truly older, beginner audience... That was great for them, but not suitable for my needs and I had trouble gathering any excitement about their new offerings.

Now they have evolved once again and have such a variety of instructors of many ages and are creating a range of beginner, intermediate, and more advanced workouts, I am back! And surprisingly out of shape (I focused basically on nearly daily Pilates this past year... plenty of sculpting, but not the feel-good anti-aging. move with agility and ease effect that Essentrics has for me.) I am VERY impressed with several of the instructors- I like them all, but Gail, Sasha (sp?) and Alexa are new favorites.

I am doing the 40's. I tried Sahra's new workout last week when it was first uploaded on the site. My calves were sore for three days afterward! It was by far the most intense calf work I have ever encountered with Essentrics.

I am completely humbled that daily Essentrics, an exercise I liked for so many reasons, one of them being that it was so DOABLE with no dread is, well, hard for me now. But hopefully, the Challenge will help me to get back into it.

I think Sahra is a couple of years older than me... maybe like 43 or 44? I am not sure why I think I know this... but I remember being inspired that she was just slightly older than me and looked quite young when I first started in my 30s. Not 100 percent sure of her exact age, though.

I would be doing the 60's challenge, if I decide to do this. I looked at it briefly but not sure I want to pay for streaming service each month, after the 14 day trial. I have so many Classical Stretch and Essentrics DVDs that I'm not using right now, but I do like the idea of following some of the newer instructors.

For those following Miranda, how did you like the first workout?

I did the first one for the 50's (I'm 55), but think I may want to do the ones for the 30s but don't know if I will benefit more with the ones for my age.
