Pat, I start to feel sorry for my DVDs too! I do still want to get in Altar of the Heart before the end of my sadhana.

I did José's challenge again today - Square pose, one of my favorites (especially just as a cross leg forward fold). I also did a short scapular yoga practice from Yoga with Joelle, and tonight I'm going to a yin yoga class.

Day 32:
~Hatha Flow class on the beach - This was a different group, there are several in the park, and the instructor had such a lovely vibe. I bought a 5 class card and plan to go most mornings next week.

Pat - I so seldom use DVDs any more. I should take a look at my collection and thin it down. The only one that I might keep is Rodney’s AM Yoga. I have Tilak’s Altar dvd but I looked at the link KarenJo posted and I might buy it as a download. I don’t have a DVD player on the tv any more, just an external one for my laptop.

Sorry her teaching style didn't click with you, Beth. Sometimes when we learn a particular type of yoga from a teacher, any variations of their teaching by others throws us off balance.

I think that's it. And no need to be sorry - I like trying new things and it was still an enjoyable practice.

I went to a yin class at my yoga studio tonight; it was very nice but chilly despite the extra heaters on; right now it's about 8*F here. :eek?

Today's JDG challenge was a pose I have NEVER see before, penguin. I couldn't hold the full pose very long but enjoyed doing it one-sided. I also did a Yoga with Tim practice which he called Yin & Yang. It wasn't really true yin, more like stretchy yoga plus some slow flow work, but I liked it:

Today I did Yoga Flow for Energy with Jessica Richburg (YT). I did a few balancing poses afterwards for strength, including peacock -- a pose that I've been working on and managed to hold for ten seconds today!!

Here's the video. I hadn't heard of it either, although I sometimes teach a twist similar to what she shows in the one-sided version.
