The workouts look great themselves but I just can't justify paying $40 for just 1 workout that is an hour long. The other stuff is just a waste for me to get (CD and book). Bummer

Anxiously anticipating your thoughts Are they comparable to the Body Combat instructor series?

Thanks in advance

Though I will say that the bundle pack of volume 1-5 of Rip isn't too bad($160). The workouts look awesome. I won't be surprised if I cave eventually in true vidiot fashion

I did War #3 this morning. Since Tara and I like the same workouts, I knew that I would love War #3, and I was not disappointed at all. I really liked this workout a lot!

The format is very similar to Les Mills BodyCombat and Group Kick. I have to agree with Tara on the intensity level. I normally use my 2 lb. gloves with Les Mills BodyCombat, and really don't feel too worked out. I used my 1 lb. gloves with War #3 and the intensity was higher than Bodycombat.

The energy level isn't quite up to par with BodyCombat, but that's because BodyCombat has a live audience. There's also times when you hear breathing, but not enough to be a turn off. The soundtrack is very good.

I did a 30 free trial with DailyBurn and was thrilled to see Anja who is one of the instructors at DailyBurn. She's an awesome instructor.

Anyway, a huge thumbs up. I also bought Boot and the other workout that looks like BodyPump. I'm sure they'll be good, too.

Does all the the War workouts have cardio first then abs/core at the end? Or do they go to the floor during the workout?

Approx how long is the cardio portion?

TIA

Have you done a BodyCombat workout? Their format is the same. Upper body work around the 5th or 6th segment, core work right before the cool down.

I'm doing the Les Mills Combat rotation, now. I think the Les Mills workouts are around 53 minutes, not 60 minutes. Is that the same for the War workouts? TIA

question regarding group rx

I have a question regarding these workouts, interested in ordering 1 from each group, rip, boot, war and step. I want to make sure that they are complete workouts that you follow along to, like the beachbody pump workouts. I am not good at putting things together on my own. Does the workout have the music in it or do you have to play the cd separately?
If anyone has these and can comment I would appreciate it, next week is my birthday so want to order, just didnt want to waste 200.00 if it wasnt like a real workout.
