What the new year brings to me depends on what I bring to the new year

1 - Sadhana Day 12 - LWR Standing Ab Workout With Low Impact HIIT (Advent Day 19); LWR 10 Minute Toned Arms Workout (Advent Day 20); walk around neighborhood with DH; walk at the beach and annual New Year's Day beach reflection, gratitudes and meditation; Kassandra's Intention Setting Yin Yoga With Affirmations; 8,733 steps.

2 - Sadhana Day 13 - no formal exercise but Tias Little "Animal Spirits Within the Chakras" meditation on Glo; 5,180 steps.

3 - Sadhana Day 14 - GYM for 15 recumbent, PT at the cable machine, weight machines for lower body, chest and back, and dumbbells to finish up arms;

4 - Sadhana Day 15 - LWR Standing Ab Workout (Advent Day 21); floor PT and 30 bridges; 20 minute lunch walk; Sara Clark "Revel in Rest" restorative yoga; Gopi Kallayil "Settle Down for Sleep;" 7,070 steps.

5 - Sadhana Day 16 - LWR 7 Minute Walk/4 Minute Glutes and 7 Minute Fast Pace Walk (Advent Days 22 and 23); Koya Webb, "Mindful Movement" yoga and meditation; 7,146 steps.

6 - Sadhana Day 17 - ~ LWR 11 Minute Low Impact Cardio Workout - the Winter Wonderland workout again; Tias Little "From Anxiety to Ease" meditation (Glo); 6,500 steps. I finished the Advent Calendar!!!! I haven't finished a rotation since Project You first came out!

7 - Sadhana Day 18 - Unplugged 2001; Lee Holden Qigoing for Depression & Energy Balance; 4,907 steps.

8 - Sadhana Day 19 - Winsor 20 Minute Workout; Lee Holden 7 Minutes of Magic PM Extended; 4,568 steps.

18 - Sadhana Day 29 - Nothing formal, took advantage of the day off to rest, read and do some tidying up; 3,176 steps.

19 - Sadhana Day 30 - Unplugged 2003; PT mat work with the hip circle; Lee Holden Qigong for Depression; 5,981 steps.

20 - Sadhana Day 31 - LWR 10 Minute Cardio Arms (BYB Day 4); Standing Abs Workout (Day 5);

21 - Sadhana Day 32 - Days 4 and 5 of Lucy's Be Your Best challenge (an arm workout and a standing abs workout); Unwinding Muscle Tension from Barbara Benagh's AM/PM Yoga; intentionally moved around more at work; 8,168 steps.

22 - Sadhana Day 33 - Section 1 from Jane Fonda's Complete Workout (warmup and upper body weights); Lee Holden 7 Minutes of Magic PM; 7,057 steps.

23 - Sadhana Day 34 - Bellyfit TV2 class 1, Confidence; yin / yoga nidra workshop; 6,892 steps.

24 - Sadhana Day 35 - Jane Fonda Firm & Burn, Latin workout; my own post-workout yoga for spine and hips; 6,892 steps.

25 - Sadhana Day 36 - GYM for treadmill, recumbent bike, and weight machines; Lee Holden Tao Yin, Finding Your Qi (Glo); 6,320 steps.

26 - Sadhana Day 37 - Nothing formal; 5,866 steps.

27 - Sadhana Day 38 - LWR BYB Day, 10 Thousand Steps Today Challenge which turned out to be a 25 minute Walk Away the Pounds workout; 7,396 steps.

28 - Sadhana Day 39 - Nothing formal, very tired from my first COVID vaccine; 7,281 steps.

29 - Sadhana Day 40 - Ditto above but did a meditation after work; 4,563 steps.

30 - Winsor 20 Minute Sculpting Circle; my own restorative yoga; 5,569 steps.

30 - HUH I misnumbered somewhere, no biggie, but in the real world this day I had gym workout for me yesterday, 15 recumbent and full body with the weight machines.

31 - Finished up Jane Fonda's Easy Going Workout with the warm up, barre, cardio, lower body stretches and cool down; 6,458 steps.

1. Leslie’s Burn to the Beat. I really wanted to quit after 2 miles (from boredom) but made myself keep going to finish the workout. Felt good since I usually skip working out on New Years Day all together.

7. Rest Day, just felt tired and sluggish and talked myself right out of a workout.

8. LITE Body Weight & Bands thru back rows on the floor.

9. Jessica Smith 30 Minute Hiit Walk - 5 Day Fat Burn dvd from her Walk the Weight off set. Deciding whether to follow her rotation on the back of the box set to get me motivated in this cold weather.

10. Lazy day again.

12. Jessica Smith Walk On 30 Minute Fat Blaster.

18. Cathe Perfect Pump Upper Lower Body combined premix. I really like this premix. It alternates sections of the 2 workouts.

Yay, my DS finally got a job last week! He starts today!

20. IDTV Travis Yoga 30 For 30 Yin Yoga Ugh, slept awful and awake at 3:15 am and never went back to sleep so did something light.

21. Tamilee Webb Fit to the Hits Rock Hard Assets (cheesy but fun ) and KCM Your Best Body Legs. I made my own cardio & weights circuit with these two. Since one is VHS & one is DVD, it was easy to just stop and start when I wanted to.

22. Tamilee Webb Fit to the Hits Motown Moves and Cathe Upper Body Add-on from her Basic Step dvd. I did the same as yesterday with this making my own cardio & weights circuit.

25. Cathe Push Pull. I REALLY had to talk myself into doing a workout. I just have no motivation lately.

Hi Everyone - Hope you are all having a nice start to the New Year. I usually just post my workouts and don't check in much so hopefully I can change that this year.

fanofladyvols - I noticed last month you asked me about Janice Lennard and Nicky McGinty. I have looked at their workouts in the past but have never done them. Have you used them and do you like them? I seem to use the same instructors over and over again. I woke up on New Year's day though and wanted to do something different. I am trying Melissa Wood Health and so far I like her. It is a blend of Pilates and Yoga and she also has meditations available. I think I just need a fresh start with a different instructor. I may add Essentrics in too since they are having a challenge this month. We'll see how long this lasts! Haha!

AnMrsDe Hope your power is still on! Sounds like quite the workout shoveling!

Tomorrow is back to reality with work and homeschooling my 8 year old. Have a nice week everyone.
