I have it and will try to do a little review of it tonight after work ~

I would love to know too. I am loving the home vol. 1 so far. I may end up buying everything she has.

LG Sisters Get Strong includes a brief "Strong Mind" section - self assessment, goal setting section - and a "Strong Body" section - including both a gym workout plan and a home workout plan. There is quite a bit of overlap between the gym plan and the home plan.

Like some of Lauren's other plans, LG Sisters Get Strong has a page for each day's workout, with small photos of the various moves. There are three types of workouts in this plan:

Strength & Conditioning (S & C)- weight training moves, along with compound movements and traditional cardio to improve endurance - box jumps, box pop squats, kettlebell swings, incline mountain climbers, decline mountain climbers, burpee tuck jumps, etc.

Strength & Sculpt (S & S)- more weight focused movements, along with "unique cardio training". The cardio moves include box toe touches, high knees, plank jacks, mountain climbers, jump squats, etc.

Strength & Recovery (S & R)- active rest days - low intensity steady state cardio, foam rolling and stretching to improve endurance, flexibility and mobility.

You work out 6 days a week - 2 S & S, 2 S& C, and 2 S & R workouts. There are 5 weeks of workouts. Some days are done in circuits that you repeat 3 times, some are not.

This definitely looks harder to me than the Plan I'm doing now - Beginner Phase in the Home Workout Plan (version 1.0). I'd say this plan is not quite as dumbbell focused as the Home Workout Plan. I will definitely have to work up to this program, but I'm glad I have it.

Carol, thanks for the review. I really like vol. 1 because it seems to be isolation focused and I do better with those sorts of workouts. I can't handle too much cardio; it makes me tired but I could probably pull in a HiiT day once a week. I'm glad I have the new Fit Tower though; I think it could be used for modified burpees and mountain climbers.

Me too! We sound like we are in much the same spot. I used my B-Bounder for the HiiT cardio last week and am planning on using it again tonight. I programed my iPad app to call out and time the intervals, but I'm thinking about making the rest intervals a little longer than 30 seconds.

Is LG on par with 2.0 (home), easier? harder? About how long are the workouts in LG?

It looks harder to me because there's more cardio and bodyweight exercises. I can't tell how long the workouts are, but I would guess they are similar in length to Lauren's other workouts.

I've stuck with the workout for two weeks now, so that's pretty good for me! Usually I start to rethink my rotation a week into it. I'm going to take a closer look at her eating plan. Anything to help cut down on cardio is looking more appealing to me.

I bought her in home strength program yesterday and despite the promise on her website, I did not immediately receive the pdf for the workout. I still haven’t got it. I’m less than pleased and if I don’t get it this morning, I’ll contact my credit card and cancel payment. Granted, it’s only $12 but it’s false advertising, nonetheless.
