Same here. The ones I see on FB are for serious illness and I don’t believe the people are lying. But I only donate to those I am confident are real.

We Rate Dogs on Twitter has frequent posts asking for funding for dog vet care. But the people don’t have the money, and the account is geared to animal lovers. It’s also not through GFM, but Dog Rates itself.

The only GFM I contributed to was for a personal friend who's husband was severely injured at work and needed round the clock care. Most of them are ridiculous.
