Jeannine, I wrote up reviews of both with breakdowns of exercises; my Pilates Perfect Body is still on the New Reviews page, but here is my Slim & Sculpt review. Again, I wish more people would post reviews of these (hint, hint, folks!).

Quick comparison: Slim & Sculpt is more straight-up Pilates, mixing traditional matwork with apparatus moves, while Pilates Perfect Body mixes in some barre / dance and a teeny bit of yoga. I guess I'm one of the few who probably prefers Slim & Sculpt over Pilates Perfect Body, but I'm sadly a Pilates purist, not a fusion or barre kind of gal. I almost preferred Suzanne in S&S, but most others seem to like her just as well, if not more, in PPB. I found S&S a hair more challenging, but those who come from a barre background will most likely find PPB more challenging because they'll be better prepared to execute the form properly there.
The segments have the same focus (abs, arms, lower body, total body, stretch). Obviously PPB doesn't use the band, but you need light dumbbells for the arms segment.

kath - thank you!

i saw the collage clips of S&S and you're right, i got that same impression, that it leaned more toward pilates.

good comment about barre-people liking PPB - no wonder i liked it. it seemed not as intense, but it might be because i need to get back into barre work; to me barre work gets more intense the more you do it.
