Interesting article in today's Times style section.

Also in the section is an article about the Well&GoodNYC zine. It ends with a rather negative mention related to Buti.

What are your thoughts on Pilates, its branding (or official lack thereof) and the fusion styles inspired by it - should they not be allowed to use Pilates in their branding?

It reminded me of how when Tae Bo was hot in the '90s, a lot of other workout tapes came out with names very very close to Tae Bo, like Tae Box, Tai Fit, etc. Kinda like Kentucky Fried Chicken vs Kansas or Kennedy Fried Chicken, lol.

That is an interesting article. I actually like fusion workouts, but I can see where purist want to keep Pilates in the purest form possible. I like Piloxing and it was her type of toning that made me want to look into real Pilates like mat work or on the reformer. I already love boxing/kickboxing and it just introduced me to another form of exercises. Now I like Pilates enough to keep doing it whether it's a mat workout or a reformer workout.
