So sorry about that! I must have not realized it was a VFer. Can you resend and/or send me a PM with your name so that I can send you one?

I am too! I don't want it to end. I love the narrator, actress Lauren Ambrose (from the show Servant on Apple TV)

I started Nick Hornby's Just Like You today. In some ways, it reminds me of Anne Tyler's novels.

Yes, I felt the same! I finished it yesterday.

Picked up "Just One Damned Thing After Another" by Jodi Taylor at the library. Apparently it's a huge series, and I thought I'd give the first one a try. Seems like fun so far.

I finished The Wives by Tarryn Fisher today. If you like psychological thrillers, you'll enjoy that one as well. Had me scratching my head until the end, when you finally find out what's going on.

It's not as good as the other two, IMO, but certainly different.

I'm taking a summer school (eight week) Nathaniel Hawthorne class. As such, I am working my way through most of his short stories. "Young Goodman Brown" is a classic and one of my favorites from decades ago. We're skipping some of the longer stories "The Scarlet Letter" and "The House of the Seven Gables", so we can read more of the shorter stories. I've been enjoying everything I've read so far!

It's Nathaniel Hawthorne's Birthday coming up (July 4th) so we might head up to the Salem or Concord MA area, where Hawthorne lived.
