I worked out with Tamilee Webb today!
 

Tamilee was in town today as the main stage attraction at a health/wellness workshop called Full Speed Ahead After 50. She gave a brief talk and then took us through a cardio and balance workout. She seems very nice and is a terrific instructor in person (as well as her videos, obviously) - very funny too. She brought her dog along, a three legged Shih Tzu named Izzie who was adorable! Also discovered today that she is the same age as me and looks fantastic - so I am now very inspired to get off my butt and get back into shape :)

How cool! Tamilee was one of the first instructors I discovered through videos. I still have her Buns of Steel Step 2000 workout that I do to this day! I also like her Buns of Steel 5 workout.

I don't know much else about her besides fitness, though I did read somewhere that she is a huge animal person and has several pets!

Darn-I have a VF friend who lives in WI who loves Tamilee. I'm sorry she missed it.

Did you get a picture with her? I bought, maybe in 2000 the "Buns of Steel 2000" purple aerobic step with the VHS tape. I probably threw away the VHS tape or gave it away years ago. I'm not coordinated enough to do fancy step moves. I don't have time to remember moves. That's great you got to meet her. I recently pulled out the buns of steel 2000 step and started back using it.

Glad you had a good time. I really like Tamilee - Cardio Blast is one of my favourite short cardio DVDs.

Kathleen. Where in WI are you? Maybe I don't want to know. I'd be bummed if I could have driven there. I'm going to look into Full Speed Ahead After 50. Maybe she'll be here tomorrow!
