Jenny Ford - New Challenge

Hi,

I found this in my e-mail - a new Challenge from Jenny!

Join us for our newest Seven Summits Step Challenge beginning on Monday, September 13th, at noon GMT-6 time. (Please Google GMT-6 time to figure out what time that would be where you're located.)

Workouts will be filmed live on Amazon, always at noon GMT-6 time, Monday through Friday. We will step and virtually climb the 7 tallest summits in the world together over a period of 13 weeks.

Be sure to follow us on Amazon and join this amazing (free) cardio challenge. Each workout will be around 35 minutes long and will give you 3,900 steps to add to your day.

Monday we'll begin our climb of Mt. Kosciuszko which is part of the Australian Alps.

This is the perfect time of year to give yourself the gift of health by joining the Seven Summits Step Challenge as we work out together live.

Protect both your mental and physical health in one short 1/2 hour each day. This will be a great way to prepare your body for the release of the Step Across America Program in the new year!

Let us know if you have questions. So excited to begin this challenge with you soon!

I got an email from her too. I am a little unclear on what the workout will actually be though - I mean will it just be a regular step workout and we're supposed to pretend we're climbing a mountain? Will we see Mt. Kosciuszko somewhere on a background screen?

I don't think I will participate but I think it's a creative idea.

I'm not sure either, but I will check it out to find out more. I don't think I could step 5 days a week though - but if the workouts stay up for a period of time on Amazon I'll do some here and there!

Poor Jenny cut her foot and had to get stitches, so this challenge is on hold.

I didn't get to do any of it so far - some of the workouts are on her You Tube channel. They are just step workouts done in her studio w/ the white background.

Poor Jenny:eek: I'm sorry to hear that. Must have been painful. :(

Do you know how it happened?

I just watched her on FB and I don't think it say exactly what happened but it was mumbled that her hubby left something down on the ground. She had to get stitches and will be out 2weeks per doctor but Jenny said 1 week?

I am so sorry she got hurt. I hope she feels better soon  I love her and her Walk Across America.

Jenny is starting a streaming service - it is $4.95/month. So reasonable!

I think I will, too. I have had good luck with her workouts. Straightforward cardio, step and weights.
