Has anyone else seen this? (Monkeyfeet)

As if I need another fitness gadget, but this one looks kind of cool.

I wonder if moving the weight further out on the lever (at the bottom of the foot) compared to more centrally located (behind the knee) makes a difference. Would that require more core stability?

That's the argument I'm going with to justify another fitness toy! :D

The only justification you need is that you want it. If you get one or a pair, it would be cool if you showed us pics of you in Monkey Feet Action.

The only problem I see is if you're doing a video you'd have to pause it to put the dumbell in place. It's not like picking one up with your hands. Otherwise, it looks like a clever idea.

I have one of these -- it's great for doing your own lower body work but it would be very hard to use in connection with a video. Once you have the boot on, you have to take it off to change weights: the "jaws" that hold the dumbbell won't open otherwise (which I guess is a good safety feature).

That looks really cool. I cannot "hold" a dumbbell in behind my knee at all.

looks fine. Gadget or what. We like variety in our exercise.. I'm buying drum sticks today so I can work them with my chair exercise and RevX fitness. and, they don't cost a lot..

too bad it's just for one..

just a thought, couldn't exercise bands, the cloth one works similar muscles. ?

I was thinking about this as well. Bands get a little ponderous for me, but I can definitely see if working for the loop bands.
