I'm on the FaceBook Diet!
I haven't been on FaceBook for about two weeks.
I haven't lost any weight but I feel 100 pounds lighter! :D |

LOL! I left Facebook 4 1/2 years ago. It was weird at first, but I don't regret it. |

:D Great idea! Anita |
I deleted Facebook a long time ago. Best decision I’ve made in a long time.

I have an account on Facebook so I can have conversations on Messenger with people. And my brother lives in Japan and it gives me a way to keep track of him. And once in a while, I go on to wish someone a happy birthday. Other than that, I just don't read it.

I've never had an account. All the people I want to communicate with on the regular are within calling distance. So I guess that means I'm at goal. Lol!
Congrats on leaving facebook. :) |
I've learned that the internet can be a great place to learn things, but it's also a time suck. I'm a member of a good many groups, but I only visit them individually, as I want to, not letting the newer posts clutter my Facebook feed. Saves a ton of time, and makes it more likely that things I want to see won't get lost in the shuffle. Same with other forums and special interest groups. Love the things I've learned here at VFF, for example, but it's far better for me to block out time in my day for working out, moving my body or just getting some fresh air than to spend too much time chatting here.

I have never had a real Facebook account, just a fakeo one to follow some retailers for coupon codes and a few hobby/interest groups. I don't feel like i missed out. I also don't do Twitter.

I think the world would be better without Facebook but have to have an account for work. The only good that ever comes from it are discount codes and helping people find lost family members and animals that are missing. Very happy to see so many people stopping it.
