no such thing as a dumb question!

Welcome to the Getting Started Forum. Whether you're an exercise novice looking for good advice and video suggestions or an athlete who has never used videos before, here you can get great advice about which videos to choose and how to create a balanced exercise program.

Please don't hesitate to post your questions and concerns or to ask for individual video recommendations. There is no such thing as a dumb question! If you can give us some idea of your previous experience with exercise, your workout preferences and some examples of instructors you know that you do or do not like, that will help us improve our recommendations.

Exercise novices may also want to check out the Beginner's Check-in under the Challenges and Check-ins Forum. In this checkin, beginners report in to each other on how their workouts went over the previous week, how they felt, and any progress they've made.

Another resource to check out is the Mentor Program. There you can post requests for a mentor or peruse the listing of available mentors to find someone to help guide you as you undertake your new committment to fitness.

Good luck on your fitness journey!

I am new, I decided this year I was going to attempt the at home video workouts, and shed this extra 28 pounds.

You just bumped a 17-year-old post — that might be a record!
