Hi Everyone,

Today, so far, has been:

Pahla B - March Challenge Day # 1 - Walking w/ Weights

Robin Long/TBL - Challenge Day # 1 - abs/core

Both were good workouts. I decided to stick w/ Pahla for at least the first week of the month and then may change things up a bit - not quite sure how - was thinking of either switching to another instructor or doing Pahla's Body Shaping weeks from her prior mini-challenges for the rest of March...not sure yet, time will tell. OR, I do like Jessica V's calendar for this month - her stuff is easy to fit into whatever else I am doing, though.

I plan to get some CS in later and maybe a short walk if it stops raining.

Hope everyone has a good day!

Hi everyone,

Trifecta Pilates: Day 2 Abs and Back

I chose this workout randomly on Youtube just to try the Trifecta workouts. I liked her, but I miss Theresa and Michelle, so I think I will go back to their workouts. I took a short rest break this past week, but I'm ready to try again!

Donna, I signed up for Robin's challenge, but I couldn't get into it. I don't know why but I just don't click with her. I really wish I could!

Waves to everyone!

Today's workout (accidentally) was

Define & Align - Cardio Strength - 30 minutes

This was a very strength intensive workout, with just a tiny bit of cardio, all of which I modified. I thought it was an odd placement in the rotation, coming after yesterday's lower body strength workout, but I just went ahead and did it. Turns out my instincts were correct - I should have been doing a different workout. Oh well, I'll do that one next week when I am supposed to do the workout I did today.

As I said, this workout was very strength intensive - 3 strength exercises, 1 cardio exercise, then you repeat the same 3 strength exercises and move on to the next circuit. Each move is done for about 45 seconds and there's a little rest as you set up for the next exercise. Karen gave modifications for all the cardio exercises. There was no floor work, except for mountain climbers, in this workout.

Tomorrow is a rest day, and I'm ready for one!

Donna - Nice job! It was all I could do not to start on Pahla's March workouts today. I haven't gotten to Robin's challenge video and I may not get there tonight. I'm pooped.

Christine - Good job - Robin's workouts generally haven't grabbed me in the past and I'm not sure why. I've said I think they are boring, but I'm not sure that's exactly it.

Hi Everyone,

Today, so far, has been:

Ellen - Gentle Barre - from her streaming site

Jessica Valent - Pilates & Yoga For Arms

Jessica Valent - Sciatica Routine - some nice stretches....

Thinking, maybe, of doing Jessica's calendar this month - who knows...I suppose the important thing is just to be consistent!

Carol - that does seem like an odd placement for that workout in the rotation! I still have her You Tube channel in the back of my mind to try soon. I also saw that Lauren from Senior Shape posted a barre workout recently. It looks nice. her workouts seem to be very calming - not a bad thing at all. I enjoyed Pahla's walk w/ weights yesterday I will probably do the cardio workout today at lunch time - it is only 20 min.

Christine - I like Beth, too, but I think I have convinced myself that I can make do w/ her You Tube channel and that I don't really need another subscription!!

re: Robin - I like her - but I don't really completely connect w/ her either - I guess i'm at a different place in life - I don't have little kids and I don't feel like I have body image issues that I'm trying to overcome - I'm just trying to be functional and feel good. So maybe that is why I am more drawn to instructors like Pahla, Jessica V. and Ellen - they are less about overcoming body image issues and more about health and function. Not like overcoming body image issues isn't healthy....but it seems like Robins' focus is towards women who are dealing w/ body image and not feeling good about themselves, that really isn't me these days. All that being said, it is nice that you can download her workouts and it may be worthwhile to subscribe for a month or two to download a few of them...but I don't know...probably not. The beach scene is nice though!

Hope everyone has a good day!!!

Good morning!

D&A Pilates Precision - 30min. Not the hardest pilates class I've done by any means, but I enjoyed it. It covered the basics and time flew. No endless reps.
Beginner Trampoline w/hand weighs - 15min. Youtube Naomi Joy Fitness: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aQ6G...S7qemo&index=5

Thanks for starting us in March, Donna!

Carol, kudos to you for doing D&A every day. I can do it every other day, maybe 2 consecutive days in a row but then I need a break and do something else. My body needs it.

I've decided to pull out my rebounder for cardio this morning. I'm clearly out of condition because this mornings the 15 min beginners class was plenty enough for me. I used to do 45-50min easily but not today. Even the 15 min rebounding gave me a good cardio workout.

I hope to do some ePilates tonight but as always, we'll see if I get around to it.

Waves to all!

furmomof6 03-02-21 08:12 PM

Hi everyone,

TBL: Pilates for Energy Boost

I guess I'm eating my words today since I didn't Robin's Day 2 workout! I liked that one, although it didn't change my original feelings.

Donna, I hear you. I think Robin's mission is a good one since our culture tends to be so outward appearance focused, but I'm with you in just wanting to be healthy and functional.

Carol, I agree with what you said. I'm not sure if boring is the right word either. It sounds like maybe there should have been a gentle workout on the calendar with that program today!

Dana, Oliver is so cute!

Waves Linda, Cheri & Brenda!

txhsmom 03-02-21 09:00 PM

Today was supposed to be a rest day, but I had such a day at work that I needed to do something when I got home, so I did

Pahla B - March 1 Walking with Weights Workout - 25 minutes; Senior Shape - 10 Minute Stretch

I found Pahla's workout to be on the high side of moderate for me, so I didn't enjoy it as much as I might otherwise have.

I noticed that Lauren from Senior Shape has posted another Barre workout on her channel. I may try to squeeze that in at some point this week.

Today our Governor took the ill-advised step of removing the statewide mask mandate, although his order "strongly recommends the wearing of a mask". What a coward and political hack! Needless to say we already have parents pressuring us to remove our mask requirement. We don't want to do this - our health department advises against it, etc. The entire thing is so d*** political it makes me want to throw up. We are hoping against hope that the Texas Education Agency continues to recommend mask wearing in schools - if that happens we believe we could convince our community to hang tight with us through the remainder of the school year. I honestly don't think they will, but we will see. Teachers in Texas are not in a priority group for vaccination, so unless they are over 65 or have serious health problems that put them in the 1B group they aren't vaccinated. It was one thing to put unvaccinated teachers in classrooms with masked students, and another thing entirely to put them in classrooms with unmasked students. What was he thinking???

Dana - I don't think I could handle multiple rotation weeks like last week - it's too much for me right now. The second week doesn't look as tough to me, but we'll see. I may start alternating days.

Donna - Nice job! I saw Lauren's new barre workout as well - I think she has posted two new workouts this week. If I need a break from Define & Align everyday, I may work in some of Lauren's more gentle workouts or some of Jessica Valant's. I think we will get more info on Jessica Smith's new program by the end of the weekend. One of the gals that moderates the Jessica Smith Junkies Facebook group has access to the program and has been given permission to host a Facebook Q & A to fill folks in on the details. I am just positive that this is going to be online only.

Waves to all! I hope I can sleep tonight - I am pretty worked up.

Carol

fanofladyvols 03-02-21 11:05 PM

Donna, thanks for starting us off!

Dana sounds like you're off to a good start with your rebounder. I'm sure you'll bounce back to your previous capacity. The body remembers!

Carol hang in there. Hope you rest well tonight.

Christine nice job! I have to learn to never say never myself. I thought I would never try kettlebells. Oh well!

Yesterday was a rest day and today was squat challenge and and a basic kettlebell workout with planks and lots of mobility ..I'm a broken record 😂

Happy Marchness...BIG WAVE to Brenda!

Well, I feel like an old person today. :D My dh and I had our wedding anniversary so what had we decided to do? Buy a Laz-y-boy recliner rocker. For me! :D I found a great snoozing recliner that suited me, but then I've noticed my dh looking around longingly, so I suggested that we get one to replace the one we now have in our living room and which I hate. He doesn't like it either It's huge, uncomfortable and just plain-old butt-ugly. So, we walked out of the store having purchased 2 wonderful Lazy-boy recliners! How is that for an old married couple on their anniversary? The bad news is that their delivery time right now is 4-6 MONTHS! Due to Covid we're told. I wish we had our chairs sooner but it is what it is. I don't want to settle for just any old chair to get it sooner. If I pay top dollar, then I want exactly what I want even if I have to wait 6 months for it!

Just chatting here....

Chuckling about your Laz-y-boy recliner rocker and old person comment! My son bought a desk at the end of the year and he still doesn't have it yet. We think it is coming this week. Covid was the reason for the delay.

Dana you should have followed it up with a visit to a home improvement store ..in the evening... especially on a Saturday night. That's where we end up. Looks like quite the hangout for folks like us...the older jet set! ;) :p

Anyway, I think that you found a lovely way to celebrate togetherness

Hi Everyone,

I had an early dentist appointment this morning - I think when I made the appointment I was anticipating that I would be going on my way in to work - well - that is not the case (thankfully - I am loving working from home, honestly).

So, this morning's workouts so far have been:

CS 1123 - all standing for shoulders (but really, total body)
Robin/TBL - Challenge Day # 3- Posture

Both were nice workouts...I have Pahla tentatively planned for this afternoon. Was thinking about Jessica V, but I will probably go w/ Pahla.

Yesterday afternoon I did Pahla's Shoulder Friendly Cardio for my afternoon lunch break and then did a short walk w/ my doggie.

Carol - I saw that about Texas - and I share you sentiments, 100%. It seems so foolish when we are close to resolving this w/ vaccines. Another state, Mississippi? Alabama? has done the same thing. I don't see the harm in wearing masks until such time as the vaccines are more widespread. Here in MD, i have no idea when I will be able to get mine being under 65 and w/ no health conditions, I suppose I'm at the bottom of the list - which I understand, but please don't lift common sense safety precautions yet - I would prefer not to be exposed to it w/ help on the way....ugh. I hope the parents don't give you too much push back. Oh, i found both of Pahla's workouts this month to be a step up from last month's. I didn't think the shoulder friendly cardio would be hard, but she got the HR up w/out lifting arms over head!

Not sure what I want to do about Jessica's newest. If it is "advanced" I may not jump on it. I haven't been able to bring myself to do WS 3.0. But, never say never! Basically if there is not a deal for an early purchase, I may just wait it out until such time (if ever) that I feel like doing more advanced work again.

Dana - LOL! I have a stove and a microwave ordered that we have to wait on, also due to COVID. Fortunately, we have a spare microwave and our stove is usable. Ugh.

Linda - great job w/ all you have been doing!

Christine - I do love the beach in Robin's workouts. But, I think after her challenge I will re-sub to Blessful body instead - I got a discount for half off -for a month - I enjoy her stuff and she has beach scenery too. She does more of a fusion style.

Brenda - hope all is well, and not too busy, on your end!

Hope everyone has a good day!

Donna

Hello,

Shaped by Faith: Pilates Mat, Abs & Legs

I love these 15 minute clips on Youtube! I have her DVD's with the full length workouts, but it's nice to just click and stream.

Linda, how are things going with DH working out with you? I understand how you feel. My DH wanted to start working out with me again as well, so I wait until he gets home from work, which is hard for me since by then I'm usually really tired. But, I'm making it work.

Donna, I remember you liking Blessful Body. Do you know how much Robin charges these days? I don't think I'll join, but I was just curious. I checked out Pilates by Lisa and she's up to $26/mo just for the basic membership. I thought that was kind of high, but I don't really know the going rate anymore.

Dana, the most important question is... does Oliver like it?? :p

Waves to Carol, Brenda & Cheri!

Christine, when making my final selection, I mentioned to my husband that because the recliner I chose was so comfortable, it's sure to become Oliver's favorite. He was very much on my mind while shopping. :D Unfortunately, I won't receive it for another 4-6 months. I'll be sure to update you!

LOL Linda! We've done that and enjoyed it too! At our age, we are so much more practical. :D

Today's workout was

Define & Align - Barre Burn - 30 minutes

Loved this barre style workout - the time just flew by! Felt nicely worked out, but not exhausted or even tired from it.

I'm in a better place today. The Texas Education Agency gave schools some good guidance today and one of the Episcopal Dioceses down state has already announced that their schools will have to continue to mask. I expect that the other Dioceses in Texas will quickly follow suit. We are not a church school per se - we are independent from the church - but we are an Episcopal School.

Must run - it's evening news time and I need to make sure that we are not on it.

donnamp 03-04-21 08:49 AM

Yesterday at lunch I did Pahla's March Workout challenge Day # 3- which was just straight up strength training.

Today, so far, has been:

Pahla's Day # 4 - Power Walk w/ Balance - this was intervals of walking, a low impact exercise and a balance exercise. I like the way balance works your core!

Robin Long/TBL - Challenge Day # 4 - Mobility.

Will probably do some CS this afternoon or maybe a dog walk.

Carol - I'm glad that the Education Agency issued good guidance - hopefully things can proceed w/ students wearing masks. it is so short-sighted to take these actions now - we are close to getting things under control if everyone can be patient, continue to take precautions and, if they can, get the vaccine. Being too hasty for political gains will just prolong the time it will take for everything to get back to "normal". *sigh*

Christine - I think Robin is up to at least $24 and change now. And, Beth/Trifecta is $29. It starts to get crazy after awhile. My limit is $20 per month....maybe it is worth it to pay more if that is your main form of exercise and if you take advantage of all the other perks of the membership - but for me, I generally just want the workout calendars and the workouts. I don't really do meal plans and I have VF for my exercise community!

Speaking of outrageous membership prices, since i subscribe to Pahla's channel and her focus these days is middle aged fitness, I get a lot of other recommendations come up.

This one looks good:

https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCxF...iWU-I-0UANHqUw

And she has a paid site, which I decided to look into - OMG - she charges $49/month. No way!!

https://www.fitfabafter50.com/

If it was $20 or something i may try it for a month but $49???

Hope everyone has a good day, waves!

Donna

Brenda in WA 03-04-21 02:48 PM

Happy March, everyone! :sun:

I'm undecided about a workout today. Maybe a walk on the treadmill? Not feeling all that inspired while sitting here crampy. Fun times.

So... now we know what Jessica Smith's new program looks like. I'm leaning toward skipping it. I think if it was closer to a Walk Strong 4.0 I might go for it but for just weights.... as much as need to do more weight training, I already own plenty of strength workouts including hers. And I love the rotation calendars she's put out for her existing stuff. It feels weird to not do it because I'm kinda a Jessica complete-ist, as it were. If she produces it, I almost always buy it. But... I doubt I'll do it.

I'm done with all my college classes for the quarter!!! :music: Cue the band!! None of my classes had real due dates, just an end-date to complete them, so I did it early. Now I have a month off from school and start back April 5th. :D Next project is to jump into painting our rental house we are renovating. So my brain will get a rest but not necessarily my body. LOL

Dana, yay for new furniture! Four to six months does feel like forever. Our new couches took 2 months and that felt like a long time.

furmomof6 03-04-21 05:58 PM

TBL: Pilates for Mobility

That was a nice stretch, I liked it.

Brenda, congrats on finishing the semester! Enjoy your mental break!

Donna, thanks for the info. I do miss having a calendar, and that would be my main reason for getting another membership, but I'll most likely still pass. We'll see! Holy cow on the $49/mo membership! Does she come to your house to workout with you? ;)

Dana, I'm sure Oliver will love it! I always think about the fur-babies too when making those decisions. I'm sorry you have to wait so long to get it though.

Carol, I'm glad you feel better today.

Usia 03-04-21 06:41 PM

Hi everyone!

Nothing for me today. This has been a very busy week for me with lots of running around and early appointments. Today I had my scan test which was scheduled for late morning and that messed up with my workout time. After that we went on a grocery run and by the time we came back, I didn't feel like doing anything in terms of a workout.

Brenda, congrats on finishing your classes for the quarter! Awesome! That's a great achievement.

Donna, thanks for the links. The first link didn't work for me but the second did. Why someone thinks they can charge $49/month for their subscription is beyond me. I wouldn't pay that for a top instructor let alone for someone, shall I say obscure? At least to me? I tried to look up her credentials and I wasn't able to find much. Wow!

Carol, good think that Texas Education Agency gave you some guidelines and they will still require students to wear masks. Lifting that requirement is way premature and reckless.

Speaking of Covid, my cousin (flight attendant) came down with Covid couple of days ago after dodging the bullet for over a year. She's pretty sick and I worry about her because she also has asthma. She lives in Europe and her partner came down with Covid first. Fortunately he's feeling somewhat better but she told me she'd never been so sick in her life like now. Very upsetting. She's my first cousin and because she's an international FA and used to come to ORD often, we are pretty close. Last time I saw her was in October. :(

I too, received email from Jessica regarding her new program. I viewed the clips of the workouts, listened to the narrative, read the description and I am not interested. Not only because the progran is a purple player download but...I'm just not interested in what I've seen. Maybe I'll change my mind sometime along the way but as of now, I have zero interest. I still don't know what was so difficult with Jessica posting 6 months ago that this program will be streaming and/or download only. Since other instructors released DVDs in the past 6 months, the theory that ALL DVD producers shut down because of Covid just doesn't make sense. Nonetheless, I hope she does well with this program, but it's not for me.

Waves to all!

txhsmom 03-04-21 08:54 PM

Today's workout was

Define & Align: Cardio Fusion Circuit – 30 minutes

This was a tough workout for me – it was the same basic setup as the Cardio Strength workout -3 strength exercises, 1 cardio exercise, each done for 45 seconds or so and repeat the circuit. There were 3 circuits and then you moved to the floor for a little bit of ab work and a quick stretch. Modifications were given.

Dana - So sorry about your cousin! I will keep her in my prayers.
I felt the same way about Jessica's new program. It isn't balanced enough for me and the darn workouts are just too long, not to mention the lack of DVDs.

Christine - Good job! I haven't managed to do any of Robin's challenge workouts this week.

Brenda - Woohoo on finishing up your courses! That's exciting - enjoy your break. I'm like you - this will be the first Jessica release I haven't purchased since her really early stuff. Oh well, it's just not for me.

Donna - Nice workouts! Wow! $49 a month? Who does she think she is, Tracey Anderson?

Carol

fanofladyvols 03-05-21 06:56 AM

Christine any workout that has mobility in it draws me in immediately! I have compiled a running list and an instagram collection. Love that stuff!

Brenda congrats on finishing early. Good luck on your painting! Exercising is just the practice for the real game day workouts like painting!

Dana I don't understand the whole Jessica release either. Not sure why she let someone not employed by her announce through FB live the issues with a dvd release instead of using her own voice through her email blast. It's odd.

Carol I'm glad you're in a better place and that your school will feel good about the decisions it makes.

Donna your reaction to the streaming cost cracked me up. I always wonder if it's a difference in the market the trainer is surrounded by that dictates the cost rather than the actual need to charge that to provide. I know it's their living and I don't know what overhead is involved plus the value of their personal time. They need to feel motivated to produce so they need to make money as well. There are just SO MANY free options and SO MANY personal trainers available. I think that puts a pretty low ceiling on the subscription cost. Plus, every month is ONE LESS DVD :p

Finished up my squat challenge but still working on my Turkish get ups and single leg deadlift challenge. Takes me longer than the stated days but I don't care.

I am trying to figure out how to continue improving with kettlebells but do other things.

Hope a good weekend is here for you!! :sun::music:

donnamp 03-05-21 08:01 AM

Hi Everyone,

Yesterday DD and I walked our Golden - it was windy, but it was still nice to get out and walk.

Today, so far, has been:

Pahla B - March Challenge Day # 5 - Finding Your Core - this was more of a mental workout than anything else to find and work your core. Not a lot of steps or calories burned w/ this one! But not a bad thing to do!

Robin Long/TBL - Day 5 - Full Body Strength

I am going to pass on Jessica's workout set - I don't want to work that hard or make that kind of commitment right now.

I am thinking of subscribing to Essentrics for a month - they are doing live workouts M-F for the rest of this month!

Dana - I hope your cousin feels better soon. ugh

Hope everyone has a good day!!

Donna

Hi,

TBL: Full Body Strength Pilates

I ended up enjoying the few TBL workouts I did, and of course now I feel that I may get pulled into joining the Sisterhood for a month, lol. Linda was right, never say never!

I haven't done Jessica's workouts all that much, but it seems her loyal fan base is used to the 30 minute workouts with variety. I wonder why she strayed from that with this set being all strength, longer workouts and no backgrounders? I hope she does well with it!

Linda, Good job on the squat challenge! I've learned to go at my own pace with workouts too. Even if it's take longer, you're still getting it done!

Dana, I hope your cousin feels better!

Carol, I laughed at the Tracy Anderson comment. :D

Donna, I miss my walks! I did take my dog out for a short walk once this week, but it has been so cold and windy.

txhsmom 03-05-21 08:24 PM

Today's workout was

Define & Align - Pilates Sculpt - 30 minutes

I loved this workout! It’s my favorite so far. It was a bit like a fusion workout – the first 15 minutes or so is standing work with the ball and weights and then the remainder of the workout is on the floor. There isn’t much work on the hands, which is a plus for me, nor is there much traditional pilates work. There is a ton of work with light weights and the ball. Karen changes the moves up frequently – you rarely do a move for more than 45 seconds or so. There is very little down time. I felt thoroughly worked out, but not wiped out, when I was finished. I would love an entire set of workouts like this one.

Good news today - the biggest school district in our area announced that they are remaining masked for the remainder of the school year. Practically speaking, I think that will really help us with our parents.

Christine - Good job! I've got to do some of those workouts from Robin before they disappear. Maybe tomorrow.

Donna - I don't want anything that hard either. I'm guessing that type of work is what Jessica used to get back in shape and it worked, so she wants to share it with us.

Linda - I think she's Canadian - I wonder if that has anything to do with the pricing. Turkish getups are tough! I never did master them.

Carol

donnamp 03-06-21 08:10 AM

Hi Everyone,

Quick post for me this morning, my DD has an eye dr appointment and since she is not 18 yet, I still go w/ her in case anything needs to be signed. She'll be 18 in less than six months - hard to believe.

So...speaking of "never say never" - I subscribed to Trifecta Pilates for one month. It is pricey at the monthly price, but I did not want to commit to a year - so one month - if I find I use it - maybe I'll consider something more long term. I have been wanting to focus more on Pilates w/ the hopes of it helping my back/hip issues...so..here we go! LOL!

Today, so far, has been:

Pahla - March Challenge Day # 6 - Met Con - I liked this - it was a circuit that you do twice - 30 seconds cardio, 60 seconds strength. Done in under 30 min.

Trifecta Pilates - Abs & Legs - this was a Level 2 workout on her site and it did up the challenge a bit - felt good about iit.

Christine, LOL! Look at the two of us - we're hopeless! LOL!

Carol - I'm glad to hear that sanity prevails in the school community.

Waves, everyone ---

Donna

txhsmom 03-06-21 08:58 AM

Donna & Christine - I've not done a single one of Robin's challenge workouts, but I'm finding myself drawn to the subscribing to Robin's site when she opens it on Sunday/Monday. LOL! A true vidiot! In fairness to me, my plan today and tomorrow is to actually do some of Robin's workouts...

Carol

Usia 03-06-21 09:26 AM

Good morning!

Define & Align - Functional Cardio Blast - 30min. I love the 30min format and I enjoyed this class but it didn't raise my heart rate much. One pet peeve: There was a misspelling in the title of the workout at the beginning of the DVD. It said CADIO instead of CARDIO. How did they miss it?
Leslie's Walk to the Hits Radio Remix 2 miles - 30min.

I was surprised to see that I burned more calories during Leslie's walk than Karen's Functional Cardio Blast. Not much more but still.... I never paid attention to it before but I have a new respect for Leslie's walking workouts.

I'll have to have a talk with Mr. Oliver. He follows me around the house and always likes to know where I'm at but he'd never "bothered" me during my workouts. Today, he was full of energy and kept playing with his ball chasing after it in and out of my workout room. Then as soon as I started doing some floor work, he immediately started rubbing against me and walking all over me. He finally plopped down on his back in front of me asking to have his belly rubbed. He was so darned cute that instead of stretching, I was hugging Oliver. This has to stop. :D

I'll check back later. Waves to all!

Ladies,

I just noticed that they are putting in a Club Pilates location about 1 minute from house. Oh dear...

Has anyone been to a Club Pilates? They do have a free 30 minute class available (or will have, once it's open).

Carol I haven't. Nothing like that around here. Only barre, yoga and fusion studios. And what is here is really overpriced, IMHO.

Carol, I have couple of studios not too far from me but I haven't taken any of their classes. I first looked into trying them couple of years ago but while the first class is free, membership is crazy expensive - for me anyway. I remember not liking that when I was looking to find the cost of their membership for a specific club in specific location, that information is not readily available. Instead they say cost "varies by location" and to call/email for prices. Only when I did a general google search only then I found:

Our most popular is the All Access Unlimited $199/month and this membership lets you take as many classes as you want and at every Club Pilates nationwide. We also offer studio specific memberships of 8 classes $159/month or 4 classes $89/month. For the rest of the month there is NO COMMITMENT when you join!

Let us know what you think if you take an intro class.

Hello,

TBL: Feel Good Pilates: Abs & Core

I gave this one a try again and finished it this time. Earlier in the week I stopped it a few minutes in, lol.

Donna, Yes! Call me hopeless too because I plan to join Robin's site for at least a month tomorrow, ha! :p I hope you enjoy Trifecta! I do like her as an instructor.

Dana, that is SO cute about Oliver! One of my cats constantly brushes up against me when I'm on the floor, lol. I call it "body bumps". It's like a head bump, but he uses his whole body. Oliver sounds beyond adorable!

Carol, that's exciting! I have never been to a Club Pilates, but there's an instructor who has a studio about 10 minutes from my house. I took a few classes with her a few years ago and it was fun!

Waves!

Very pricey is all I can remember about them. I guess I'll find out once they open.

Carol the barre studios near me had really good opening deals to be a founding member. If I liked barre, I would have joined. So keep an eye out! I can't justify spending $200 a month for only one kind of exercise. I would want a regular gym access with other classes available like yoga and kickboxing for that price. No wonder I exercise at home! :p :D

Christine congratulations on being persistent!

Donna I hope your subscription helps with those aches. You always do such a nice job of balancing your workouts.

I did kettlebell cardio, more SDL challenge and CS #614 butt and posture.

Sunny Sunday wishes to all!! :sun:

So, here is a crazy story: Last night I woke up around 2am with Lobo's song "I'd Love You to Want Me" ringing in my head to the point that I almost wanted to bust out singing it out loud at that moment. I have no idea why that would be. I know this song of course, but have no particular attachment to it and haven't heard it in decades, so WTH? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y-px...radio=1&t=150s

LOL! I've never had that happen. I did have all of the songs from The Music Man in my head for two days after I watched it a few weeks ago, so much so that I could not sleep. I swore never again.
