Holiday WO's I've saved over Time

Hopefully i can organize and move any Halloween ones to the end before I post this, but, for a long time, I have saved holiday workouts I find/show up in my feed (don't think I can do all these, lol, not all super easy), but hoping it can get some holiday happy going for you. (A lot of these have probably already been shared. please add any I don't have, so I can add them to my list - or anyone else can see them. If there is already a list, I totally apologize: (Huge variety, even chair and kids)
https://www.youtube.com/playlist?lis..._FUzxs9JeXUuNk

I also saw this Pilates fix holiday playlist that i saved, I think, a long time ago, but it probably doesn't have holiday music or anything:

12 day Christmas Challenge:
https://www.youtube.com/playlist?lis...feKtqf5VkiiDEK

The very first WO isn't really a workout, just to make you smile and we need to smile more right ow. Hope this brings some happy. (Sorry for all the extra holidays, I tried to move most to bottom). I love y'all so much!! Tell everyone you love them- even the car giving you road rage. Happy holidays!!

bee 12-16-20 03:56 PM

Oh fun! Thank you!!

Pam61 12-16-20 04:35 PM

I just did the Rick Bhullar Christmas workout today. Festive and fun!

Helen 12-16-20 05:14 PM

Oh.... first morning of my holidays, and just went down a rabbit-hole of holiday workouts which (unknown to me HOW) led to acrylic pour painting (quite mathematical), but had saved that holiday playlist FIRST. :D

THANKYOU!

sherry7899 12-16-20 05:25 PM

Thank you, Jen!

Gina B. posted that she will be posting a new holiday workout .

Thanks, Jen! I've really enjoyed doing workouts with holiday music and this list will keep that going.

warriorprincess 12-17-20 11:23 AM

These are so good! I feel like you just gave me a xmas present!! Thanks!

JENILU 12-17-20 05:11 PM

Awww. Y'all are making me so happy!!! Sometimes just knowing you may have done just a little something good means so so much. Thank y'all so much for that. (Wish we have Christmasy/holiday smileys!!!)

anetta 12-17-20 09:51 PM

Thanks so much, Jen! What a nice thing to do!

The first one is for "Outlander" fans, LOL!

I tried the Rick Bhullar one, but he talks too fast and I couldn't understand him.

I tried my first Paul Eugene workout. He is very cheerful and upbeat. It was funny, my shoe came untied after a few minutes. A bit later, Paul's shoe came untied in the middle of the workout. :p

Thanks again!

Vintage VF'er, I am slower than a lot of these myself. Can't handle fast. But Psychically losing your shoe is hilarious!!!! :D And he is sometimes a little obnoxious, but i like him anyway. He's always been very kind

Thank you so much! I love doing holiday workouts. My favorite is the Joanie Greggains Holiday workout. I never get tired of it, I love the music in it, & I get a good workout.

That one's been on there. He's quirky, but fun music!!

JENILU 12-19-20 03:51 PM

I didn't have the Cardio party Mashup one!! Thankyou so much!! I have to try it tho, maybe too much, they a lot of times are. i do have some on there I can't do, but when I just had it for myself, I left them off. I added more and harder ones (and children ones when i decided I should share because maybe others needed the happy, lol, but others can usually (and want to usually do harder). Have you noticed what some people call beginner is more like high intermediate in some cases, lol. Bless you! And thankyou!!

sherry7899 12-19-20 03:54 PM

Jen, the Cardio Party Mashup workouts are usually too fast for me. I was posting while I was on my kindle, so it was hard to see what had been posted already. I am sorry for the duplicates.

Yes, sometimes when workouts are listed as "beginner" I laugh and think "not in my universe!"

JENILU 12-19-20 03:54 PM

Commenting again, sorry. Glad to know, tattoo girl is doing modifications, so may get to try it after all!! Adding it in. Don't know why I didn't add the Pop one unless it was because it said HIIT?

Oh goodness, no reason at all to apologize  And atleast 1 Cardio Party Mashup, had a modifier. I actually listened to the music while I wrapped some presents, lol!! Different than the usual playlist. bless you, and list away!!

ChelePA 12-25-20 07:31 AM

BEats Fit has 2 mile holiday dance walks that are fun. Thanks for all the recommendations. Wishing you all the best this holiday season!

Love this Christmas Stretch Suzanne Bowen gifted us 6 years ago. I don’t always get to do it during the season but I absolutely love the piano music playing in the background. The album is available free on Amazon Prime Music.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays everyone!!

ETA: You can download the workout/stretch in HD to keep! It just saves as an mp4 file. :)

JENILU 11-29-21 01:48 AM

Just an update. I haven't had a chance to look at or update my list yet (there are probably some Halloween ones mixed in the wrong place, lol, and I've added some but hadn't looked), but I had to share this new ones. It is so hard to find happy holiday workouts when you are unable to do HIIT or ponies, jumping, etc... (or need an easy, but cute after dinner walk).
I love Reps to The Rhythm, whose workouts i can usually do and this one was very easy with Keoni and his mom if you haven't seen it yet. Its only about 15 minutes, around 2000 steps, so pretty slow paced. (yes, I trip over myself, but I always do till my legs and what he is doing get in sync, because my legs have a mind of their own)

Anyway, if you don't want to look at the old list, here is that one by itself (I don't know about Ad interuptions on any since I use firefox and don't get Ads.. I had to say that because I notice people mention ads a lot and I forget)

FUN & EASY HOLIDAY WORKOUT with MOM • 2000 Steps • Walking Workout #67 • Keoni Tamayo

love y'all!! Happy holiday season and many blessings!

I just did a cardio combo last Thursday: the first workout was with Rachel DeVaughn, the 30 minute 2 mile holiday fitness walking workout. I followed that up with a Moore2health Christmas walking workout, which I cannot find now, but she has several of them. Anyway, I did substitute different moves when I got bored with what they were doing, & I had a great workout. I will be checking out more of their workouts in the future. BTW, these are all on Youtube.

In these type workouts, there's always some that get a little too broadway for me (if we aren't talking high intensity which I always modify), and I end up having to modify. I apparently like things way too basic. If I get confused, I don't get my heartrate up - except out of frustration, lol. If I don't already have these (I don't think I do?) I'll look them up! Thankyou!! On atleast some f these, I have really enjoyed feeling festive (again, as long as they don't get too carried away). Happy holidays!!

PS: just looked up that Moore2health and it looks like they have 12 days of workouts!! Thankyou!! I didn't know anything about them!
PS: Day 9 has Christmas music! (ok, day 11 and 12 too I think)

Senior Shape Fitness has a cute holiday workout, called Walking & Dance Workout // Fun Follow Along Christmas Cardio! I have two left feet, and it the dancey movements were easy enough for me to follow.

I added that one a couple days ago!! I love her, but just the way my body is right now, some of the moves were beyond me- I can't remember if it was choreo or just the moves, but I know it was just me, i really like her. She's adorable!

Oh I see, it’s on a you tube playlist. Thanks for doing this! I agree, she is adorable. And her workouts are more challenging than you would think.

You may be the reason I follow her? I think I discovered her from here. (The list is a shambles. I keep adding, but every once in a while, I used to try and seperate the holidays so, if anyone wanted, they could play one right after the other, but most of this year, I just haven't been able to keep up with it. I just add when I see the titles a lot of times. Bless you and thankyou!!

PS: YES! They sometimes surprise me. She is for the more active senior, which I like because I, a lot of times have to do things at a senior level, but I hate when they talk like a K5 teacher!!

Sollamyn 12-13-21 09:14 AM

Improved Health has three low-impact (one is seated) holiday workouts. The instructor does not talk at all, but they are easy to follow workouts with holiday decor and music.

I wonder why those didn't pop up on my feed? i like her!!Especially when I can't do standing.Does anyone else have the problem where when they have to do their workouts seated (I know its probably a core issue) - and especially if they do a lot of seated jogging or similar, my hip flexors kill me. I have to be using the wrong things to life my legs or something (this probably isn't the place to ask this).
Thankyou for the heads up - thankyou everyone. If anyone wants to work thru several at once or something and would like me to organize a certain way, let me know and I will try.

Vantreesta 12-14-21 02:06 AM

I didn't realize you can share a playlist! That would have made the huge Halloween list I did for that check in a lot easier!

I added the ones I didn't have on your list to my Christmas playlist. It is over 300 now! I haven't previewed really any of them so some may get bumped.

Thanks for posting!

It gives different options on the playlist page. Mine is just all together holidays, so they are jumbled together, lol :p (I tried to put them in order by holiday last year, but have randomly added as I saw them and not organized this year) (I don't preview all of mine, but I think 76% are mostly on the gentler side because that is who I tend to follow, but sometimes others pop up because of what I am watching).

I think your you tube settings have to be set for your Playlists to be public instead of private.

Ahh, that makes sense. I suspect I set mine to private bc that's how I roll. ;)

I have mine private too! But I think you can keep your subscriptions and liked videos private, and have playlists only public.
