I really hope to be in! I've done it the past two years and loved it. But I've been suffering from pneumonia for the past two weeks and its really thrown off my training :(

Goodness! I hope you feel better!

Which Sufferland workout would you recommend to someone who doesn't have any of them yet? I've done some rpms (les mills) and a peloton, but other than that I just enjoy using my spin bike for steady state or speed intervals, etc. Music is really important to me, if that makes a difference.

ETA: Wow, DeepSeaSue, best wishes for a speedy recovery!

Thank you both for your well wishes! Is it sad that the main reason I'm hoping to recover quickly is so that I can do the Tour this year? :D

Chomper, I would recommend It Seemed Like a Good Idea at the Time. It's loooong (2 hours) but has natural breaking points at 40 and 60 minutes, IIRC. It's one of my my favourite Sufferfests because it has a bit of everything, a fun storyline, great humour and the music rocks. But I have detailed reviews of a lot of the Sufferfests on my blog.

I agree with DeepSeaBlue, but honestly they are all fun (well except for Long Slow Scream - that one is boring :P). I find myself doing Downward Spiral a lot.

I think SF just introduced a new app that would allow you to view and do all of the workouts. From what I understand it cost $10 a month.

DH and I are IN!!! We are very excited and have been looking forward to it!
Revolver + Revolver???? What the What??

I'm doing it for the first time this year. I got sick last year after Christmas and couldn't ride much in January so didn't try then. I've been riding 3-5 days a week since Christmas and I'm hoping I can handle the tour finally.

Going hard two days in a row with Sufferfest videos is not easy! I'm sure 9 days will feel pretty rough. :) Actually, I'm going to use the Time Zones and start on Friday night so I can sneak in a rest day in the middle. Or I might just finish early.

I have both the original version and the new version of Revolver, so I'm planning on using both to ease the mental boredom. It won't make the ride any easier though!

DeepSeaSue, I hope you feel better. Pneumonia is nothing to mess around with, so maybe you can do the rides later if you need more time to recover. (I know not exactly the same, but better than making things worse.)

Chomper, If you have iOS device you can try the app for $10 and see all the workouts before you buy. Actually, there is a 7 day free trial. The website has lots of info on all the workouts to help you pick. I personally like the Interval workouts the most (labeled "Speed") because they have the most variety.

I like Revolver, but TWICE? I'm dying after once because I give it my all.
