I watched the video and read some of the comments below. Someone asked about Leslie. I'm not sure if this has been posted here yet: https://walkathome.com/a-special-wal...020-who-is-it/

I tried doing a search for the product with item number F17599 and it looks like it's already sold out! Maybe they will still take orders between 10AM and Noon EST on Friday?

The clip said exclusive to QVC. I wonder if issues with inventory at other retailers that they are waiting until the release on Friday to make it available.
I sure hope there are plenty! This sounds good! I've been looking at lighter workouts lately as I just don't have the time I used to! |

Led by Nick... Yuck... :(
|
Good morning! It is up now for purchase.

It's $58.99 plus $5.50 for shipping. That's more than I wanted to spend but I'm still considering it. The DVD comes in a cardboard sleeve too which isn't a deal breaker, but I was hoping for a regular sized plastic case. Hmmm....
|
Oh, who am I kidding? I just purchased it. I am so happy to have DVDs. I miss Leslie too, but I really enjoy Nick. I think he's fun and full of enthusiasm and I feel like there is still a "Leslie presence" since he was with her in other workouts so I associate them together, if that makes sense.
So, this will be a Christmas gift for me. I'll let my husband know. ;):p |

I won't be buying but haven't used Leslie in quite a while. |
This is way too expensive - with shipping and tax it comes to $68.04. I am buying it, though, because workout DVDs I like are few and far between these days. I wanted to mention to all of you that are going to buy, if you go through Rakuten, you will get almost $6.00 refunded to you. Not a huge amount, but it helps a little.
P.S. The Rakuten rebate is 10% today, but may go down tomorrow. |
There are two Run Walk Lifts on YouTube.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=45KEyjx5eJQ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eC1_8HaJrSQ I already have a band. Patrice |
Well, I agree that it seems pricey for what it is. If it were just the single DVD with the two Walk bands, it should have been around $39.95, IMO. :(
But, the value for me was being able to try the Walk App for three months, to have more variety of walks. So, I bought it, after sitting through two hours of QVC programming. Proud of myself for not buying anything else, ha! ;) Nick is okay, and better than some of the other walk leaders. I don't like when some of them ham it up too much. I do miss Leslie, though. I've also been sick the last month and needed something different for motivation. Maybe this is it? :) |
I tried to create an account but got the message that they do not ship to Canada. I can send to my brother's but I would not see it for several months. I do the workouts on Youtube but hate the commercials in the middle of the workout.

I do like Nick as an instructor and these look a little higher intensity than Leslie's workouts which appeals to me. Leslie will always be my #1 but I am just happy her creation is being carried on as she seems to be moving into a well-deserved semi-retirement.
|
I noticed there are already a couple five star reviews from people who have not even received the DVD yet. Why do people do that? You cannot review a product you haven’t received yet.

I see the Walk Run Lift 20 minute workout is available on Amazon Prime Video to rent or purchase ($3.99 or $9.99.) The release date says 2020, so these are not brand new, which I didn't realize.
I think these workouts were on the Walk at Home App and they were first available for monthly/yearly subscribers. I'm glad Patrice posted the links to the one lead by Nick and the other lead by Celina. When I did them yesterday from Youtube they both felt very rushed to me. There is very little warmup and they just felt a little chaotic or frantic. I ended up canceling my order, after purchasing yesterday. I figured these might be made available again after the New Year 2022, and maybe offered at a lower price point, if I was still interested at that time. |

is this way it's called just Walk or something. No longer walk away the pounds with Leslie? because she is not in it? I think you can get burnt out saying * walk walk * for 30 minutes. :) I've heard its good to get out while your still on top. She may be doing just that. <3 |
Walking with Rick may be another way to get your walk on ..
|
I guess I'm in the minority because I love workouts led by Nick.
But that's too expensive for what it is. |

I really like Rick's workouts! :sun: I agree that the WRL set is too expensive. I guess if I wait long enough these workouts will be available elsewhere for less. |
I just watched the QVC 7-minute infomercial and have some questions:
1) Are the red and gray bands different levels of resistance? 2) Can Nick count? I got rid of the Miracle Miles set (except for the loop band) because neither Leslie nor Nick could count in the strength sections. I want to do the same number of exercises on each side, not just "until I feel tired." Any insight would be appreciated! |

Read the Q cards instructors. Read instead of trying to engage in conversation with no one that can answer you. and when i stream, it glitches, freezes and it's useless. All I want to do people is move and get the rest of the day going.. Not have to fiddle with electronics for 15 minutes. :( yes they are different levels of resistance. |
Band resistance levels

I wonder if the original blue band was a medium. I'll compare when I get my set.

I was messing around with the blue band (from the Miracle Miles set) and it feels like pretty light resistance. It got me wondering if we could double up on the bands, for added tension. Especially for things like rows and bicep curls.
Amazon now sells multiple colored bands with the Miracle Miles set....blue, pink, yellow, etc. and I believe those are all the same resistance. It's possible the blue is not even the original one, but maybe of lesser quality from some of the reviews I'd read. |

I got this set today and really like it. I love Leslie but I enjoy the variety of having some of her walk leaders lead workouts. I love Nick and I like Rocky, too. There are several familiar faces among the background exercisers: Marvin, Nikki, Tammy and Nick’s wife, Chelsea. On the first 2 workouts, the timer doesn’t start until after the warm up so the 20-minute walk is actually 24 minutes and the 30-minute walk is actually 33 minutes. I also love, love, love the fact that the run minutes are 160 bpm. Not many walks have music that fast and I like having some really brisk music once in awhile.
The only 2 negatives for me - the price was too high and you don’t get much variety with the bands unless you combine all 3 workouts and even then, you don’t get a lot. |
I was glad to see that someone had posted a review! It seems like the reviews at QVC are mixed. The only thing that kept me from purchasing this set was the price, but if it had been a little less expensive, I would have pulled the trigger.
I really enjoy Leslie and miss not seeing her, but the others are okay every once in a while. ;) It's nice to hear that the walks are a bit faster, too! I have to work my way up to those quicker paced ones, with an easier mile first. ;) Thank you for your thoughts! |
