I always have a book & an audiobook going. Right now I’m listening to The Jane Austin Society & reading Louise Penny’s latest, The Madness of Crowds.

Waiting on The Madness of Crowds from the library. Just finished a third re-read of Becky Chambers' The Galaxy and the Ground Within, and just started my first re-read of Psalms for the Wild Built.

I know it's still technically summer, but I can't believe it's September!

I'm still reading different books in different places:
Yoga for Healthy Aging - as a reference and to prep for training next month
The Body is Not an Apology - in family room for during the day
Quiet - before bed
Thoughts Without a Thinker - in office

No novels right now but have picked up several from little libraries of late; today I got one by Gillian Flynn (author of Gone Girl).

I just finished A Slow Fire Burning by Paula Hawkins. I really enjoyed it!

So many good reads this fall. My TBR is growing and growing. :D I just started Poisonous by Allison Brennan. Thank you for including my release in the list.

I pre-ordered Hayley Mills’ autobiography. It’s supposed to be released in a couple days.

Still leisurely reading The Comfort Book by Matt Haig and started I'll Be The One by Lyla Lee & Super Blend Me by Jason Vale.

I know a lot of you enjoy a good cozy. I had not heard of many of the book series on this list. https://bookriot.com/cozy-mystery-series/

I just finished reading Swamplandia by Karen Russel. It had been on my list for awhile and I found it at a thrift store. I can't really recommend it. I found it well written and interesting, but I also found it disturbing. Before that I read the most recent Robert Galbraith "Troubled Blood." Very long but I enjoyed it.

I'm about to start a Laurie King book, "Keeping Watch." I like her books. This is a stand alone, but she also writes a Mary Russell Sherlock Holmes series, which I enjoy.

I read that soon after my mom moved to Orlando and found it very evocative of that weirdly Florida tacky tourist culture and well written, but felt that what happens to Ava unnecessary to to the overall story.

I finished Andre Agassi's autobiography Open on audio and found it fascinating, especially in light of what is happening currently with Naomi Osaka.

Otherwise I've been trying to get through some of the romance novellas on my Kindle while waiting for the next Psy-Changeling library hold: 40/Love by Olivia Dade (hilarious), On Pointe by Shelly Ellis (not bad though it ends on a cliffhanger instead of being self-contained), and Archer's Sin by Amy Raby (a side story from a series I haven't read, good worldbuilding but meh story).
