I started reading I'm Your Huckleberry by Val Kilmer but I couldn't get into it so I returned it to the library. I'm now reading After You by Jojo Moyes. At night to help me fall asleep, I sometimes listen to the audiobook Little House on the Prairie by Laura Ingalls Wilder.

I'm currently reading Bury Your Dead by Louise Penny. I'm reading the Chief Inspector Gamache Mystery series. In between, I read a book that my book club is reading. Our next book will be When These Mountains Burn by David Joy.

I am reading Santa Cruise by Fern Michaels.

I finished Too Many Cooks over the Thanksgiving break; I liked it but wasn't crazy about the ending. My mom gave me a novel she liked, We Are Called to Rise, and I am about halfway through that. I like it, but it's not exactly the light reading I've been trying to do (there are themes of war, PTSD, and domestic violence  ).

I just finished "The Night Fire" by Michael Connelly. It's part of the Harry Bosch/Renee Ballard series. I have really enjoyed these. There's a new one out. I'm on the wait list for it at the library.

I just finished book 3 (of 5) of Gail Carriger’s Petticoat Protectorate series. I think I should’ve read The Finishing School series first, but oh well.

A bit mystery, occasionally steamy…and steampunk. Werewolves and vampires, too, lol. All bases covered.
