Awesome Push-Up Hack
Since my car accident last year, I continue to struggle with shoulder pain, reduced range of motion and strength. I also had a severe leg injury so I am still in recovery mode for that too. I have been struggling with push-ups. Some of my modifications included doing them off an elevated surface (weight bench) as well as dropping to my knees (at times painful due to multiple surgeries/swelling/etc.). Recently, I saw a hack which is perfect for me to improve in this area. Place a resistance loop just above your elbows, around both arms...what a game changer! You can adjust the resistance as needed. I have been using my Cathe fabric loops with great success. Let me know if anyone uses this technique and what you think :D

What does placing the loop above your elbows accomplish? Does it keep the arms straighter?

IT SUPPORTS YOUR UPPERBODY AND MAKES IT SO MUCH EASIER!! It's a great hack, I just discovered it too a few months ago.

Thanks for reminding me of this! I only learned it this year too - didn’t someone show it in a video? It might have been the Beachbody 645 program because they said you need the fabric bands, and I don’t have those Cathes.
