Tell me something good. I have no expectation as to what it is.

It's always good to focus on the positives in life and it's always interesting to hear what's good in other people's lives.

Our refrigerator went on the fritz this week. Not only did we get a repair person out to our house in three days when they are so backed up these days, but they fixed it on the first visit. Yay! We don't have to order a new one!

I am finally back to where I can go back to the gym after straining my hip and being exposed to COVID (but not coming down with it). I hope to start back next week.

It's cool today! My home office topped out at 72 degrees (has been pushing 80 most days). It's been a crazy hot summer and I'm so glad fall is coming.

Coolness being relative, it finally dropped below triple digits and the high today was 99. Although, we did have a cooler than usual July and August this year with rain, but September decided to make up for it with temps of 108. I’m ready for fall in the desert. Of course, we’ll still be wearing shorts until November lol.

Started my spring break two-weeks holiday today (teacher).

It’s drizzling right now. Not a rain but a drizzle. Some moisture out of the sky. We have not had rain in over 6 weeks. This is the Midwest but it looks like the desert.

I had a family member get good medical test results.

It is raining! We haven’t had rain since June 20th.

I love the beautiful weather we are having. Today it is sunny and 74 degrees outside--very comfortable. I'm thankful that we don't live where it snows anymore.

:D We finally got our power back 3 weeks post Hurricane Ida!

I heard from an old friend today, out of the blue! Was such a happy surprise :love:
