Anything similar to Denise Austin Yoga Booty Barre?

Is there anything similar to Denise Austin's Yoga Booty Barre DVD? I love that workout. It's got yoga, barre, and Pilates with an emphasis on the lower body.

Even though Tracey Mallett's workouts tend to be more challenging than DA, she has a few YouTube workouts for Butt/Thighs that she does from her living room that might be a nice complement to this. Some are less than ten minutes and quite nice!

Tracey also has workouts that are fusion style with toning using weights on DVD, but typically her reps tend to be quicker. I need to check out my DVDs to see if there's anything like it.

Ellen Barrett has the fusion style, but not quite like Denise's Booty Yoga Barre. Though Ellen does have a subscription channel that may offer something like it that's not on DVD.

It also seems like Jessica Smith might have done something similar on her channel, at some point. Here's a Butt Lift YT video using chair for support.

Linda Wooldridge also has some youtube and DVD content for "booty lifting" but her workouts tend to me a little more advanced, as well. She has done a few "beginner" workouts, though.

note that the title changed to Yoga Booty Lift. i have never done Yoga Booty Barre/Lift, but i own a lot of Denise's workouts, including her 360 series.

although i don't have the workout you mentioned, denise's previous pilates workouts are similar and have been mentioned as favorites on VF.

Body Makeover Mix (barre-ish)
Shrink Your Fat Zones Pilates (barre-ish)
Hit the Spot Pilates

the above were choreographed by Lisa Wheeler, who was Denise's consultant from a certain point.

Kathy Smith's Total Body Lift is also really good.

Anita, you're very welcome!

If you decide you like Tracey her Booty Barre Ballet workout is excellent! It's very approachable (with a modifier) and is a great butt lifter, though yoga is non-existent here! Tracey has good form pointers, too!

Grace Lazenby's All the Right Moves workouts are a little more advanced than Denise Austin but always combine barre and yoga. Here are some workout clips from her Rockin Model workout that you can try: https://www.youtube.com/results?sear...grace+lazenby+

I got all excited that this was a new workout until I realized that my daughter bought it for me a few years ago:). I have not done it for a while (obviously) but from what I remember it is comparable to Tracey Mallet's Booty Barre workouts. I think Kathy Smiths Total Body Lift is a good choice.

I have to apologize for not being here for a long while. I am actually just really starting to back to my workouts after some personal losses. A year and a half ago I lost my 12 year old granddaughter after a year long battle with a rare childhood cancer. Shortly after I lost my father who had suffered from a lung disease in the last few years of his life. My life took a different turn for a while but I am slowly reclaiming some semblance of normalcy. I neglected my forums and groups but I am trying to back to everything. I also retired which gives me more time to focus on fitness and family.

donellda, I am so sorry for your losses. I'm glad you are able to workout now.
