I also picked up her old Low Impact Aerobics now on DVD, I did that one last week and was surprised at how much I liked it. It was goofy but it was fun, will definitely be doing that one again soon. I thought the random guy in the back would really get on my nerves but he didn't. I also picked up Light Aerobics and Stress Reduction but didn't like that one as much, I really liked the warm up but didn't make it through the whole aerobic routine, the cueing wasn't the best. I will probably keep this one mainly for the stretch segment, which looks really nice. I have quite a few of Jane's workouts, they are among my favorites but I must admit I wish they didn't have the added sounds in them, but what do you do I guess. |

Taramisu I was looking for her Light Aerobics & Stress Reduction and couldn't find the separate DVD. I found a three disc Personal Trainer Series set on Ebay, one of the workouts sounds like it. It also has Abs, Buns & Thighs and Total Body Sculpting.
For some reason I just want them all now. |

https://www.amazon.com/Jane-Fonda-Co...te+workout+dvd This is the link for Amazon for the Personal Trainer DVD. I picked it up for under $11 plus shipping used, not too bad but way cheaper than what it was in recent years. Used copies were going for $50 or so which is a bit much. I will never let this one out of my collection again. https://www.amazon.com/Jane-Fonda-Co...al+trainer+DVD Now if she would just release her step workouts, Lower Body Solution and Workout w/Weights that would make my day. Just thought I would share.... |

Michelle Dozois & Tracy York Breakthru Cardio Step 2 (I posted this on the daily workout thread and I think I mixed up the words in the title ). It's from 2001. This is the first.time.ever that I have made it through the whole workout! It's one of the VHS tapes I converted to DVD so I hadn't tried it in years. I remember I was so confused by the cardio I did a Joni O on it and stuck it back on the shelf to gather dust. I got 95% of it today with no preview and I'm so proud of myself! I've noticed as I'm doing my VHS conversion workouts that the choreography almost always comes very easily to me. I'm sure it must be because many of these workouts actually introduced some of the moves that are familiar nowadays.

I found a used set of Jane's Personal Trainer Series on Ebay for much less than Amazon. My first try in the set was Low Impact Aerobics and Stretch.
I'd read that Jane doesn't lead the aerobics so was prepared for that. OMG what a HOOT! The pregnant lady is wearing the most unfortunate overall/shorts thing that reminded me of a barrel held up with straps. Maternity wear has certainly changed for the better. It was low impact but the other teachers who rotate in to lead were doing all these hippy moves to raise the heart rate. A side to side thing like a boxer's shuffle but with a lot of hip action, for example. My hips sure don't move like that anymore. Jane's stretch was lovely and relaxing. I give it a thumbs up, my Fitbit read a good 26 minutes in the aerobic zone and the stretch was nice. Jane looked beautiful with her hair in a post-permanent style of loose waves. Cataddict congratulations on making it all the way through. |
