No purging of dvds or videos for me. I probably should but I really like having them all. They bring me joy (this from The Life Changing Magic of Tidying Up which I've read several times).

Oh, yeah!!!! Love having a comprehensive fitness library---love running my fingers over the possibilities If I ever feel the need to purge, I'll throw out the furniture and make more room for deluxe equipment Of course, I would have to purge DH first

I'm planning a major purge this month, they'll go to Goodwill as it's not worth the effort involved to sell them with shipping costs & a dwindling DVD market.

I'm moving soon and in the process of a massive purge. I have hundreds of dvds. After reading this thread, I went through a stack and got rid of 40. I have many more stacks to go through but not tonight. I needed a break. It was kind of heartbreaking. I was doing a good job and then I found myself going back to my purge pile and rescuing some of them. I shifted to makeup and skincare and began sorting and tossing them too. It's hard but needs to be done.

I'm planning a semi purge. I'll be reviewing my yoga DVDs and deciding which ones I will realistically ever do again. There is a local acupuncture practice where the doctor has a fund for treating veterans with acupuncture, yoga, meditation, etc. I figure my power yoga DVDs will find a good home there.

have to face facts (or my body!)

I turned 62 yesterday. Still can't believe that. I have been slowly going through my DVDs in the last month. There are some I will probably never do again, because they are high impact, hurt my knees, tweak my back, etc.
But, I think it's facing the fact that I will never be young again and able to pop in any DVD and do the whole thing with out any modifications that makes this hard.
I am grateful for my reasonably healthy body and the fact that I am able to exercise and enjoy it. I just need to realize that I am older and won't ever be able to do some of the things I used to.
OK, enough of this complaining. Off to do a Cathe and decide if I keep it or not!

This made me chuckle, and the reason why I cannot make any headway with my purging
