I think that I will do a hybrid of my own workouts and Sagi workouts - the chisel workouts from Hammer and Chisel, Beast workouts, Sagi's Equipment Room workouts and Sagi's exclusives.

I completed week 5 and have done two of the week six workouts thus far. From the LIIFT4 calendar, it looks like the workout pattern changes for weeks 7 and 8 (the Shred It phase).

What do you all think of the leg workouts and would you mind describing a few?

One week, the leg workouts are either lifting, like squats, etc, and the next week its more hiit style, like you would do in Insanity, with jump squats, jump lunges and such.

I'm a little underwhelmed by the leg workouts. I would have preferred all of them to be lifting rather than only half the leg workout days to be lifting.

I have not done any of the Hiit Leg Days. I do the 50/50 from the week before.

Maybe I should do that cause I'm really hating the Hiit legs. Its a waste.

I think he should have combined shoulders and legs together, then also had a separate leg day. Like shoulders, and floor style legs with hiit, and then a separate lifting leg day.

Yep, I agree...not a fan of the all HIIT lower body workouts! The next time I do the program I'm going to add a leg day with weights every week. Just working legs once a week for a short period isn't enough for me.

I so agree with you. In the third week of the program, I added an additional leg day to the rotation. Rather than a separate shoulder day each week, Joel should have used your suggestion above.

I was debating adding an additional leg day to this rotation also, but I realized that a lot of the HIIT moves are working my lower body. My butt feels higher and tighter. If I did add another day, I might not do something as heavy as he does for weighted leg day. Maybe t25 lower body or PiYo lower body. After this rotation is up, I am going to take a week off and do whatever workout I want, but think I may come back to this for another round. I like what I am seeing!
