I apologize for not posting last night-I was having a bad evening. My mother passed away from Covid last Monday and I'm struggling with that along with the loss of Frank. My mother was 85 with serious dementia, so she is not suffering any longer.
I received the sympathy cards and notes that Linda sent out yesterday afternoon. I am speechless! I cannot even express how touched I am by everyone's kindness. Thank you so much! I am opening a few at a time so I can read each one closely. I apologize for not responding to each one of you who sent cards and notes personally. Please know how much I appreciate them. It renews my faith that there are truly kind people in this world. I have been very upset over a couple we have been friends with for nearly thirty years not reaching out to me (a mutual friend said they are both just lousy at dealing with anything emotional...sigh). This more than made up for my hurt over that.
My son was astounded when I opened the packages. He said "mom, you've never even met these people, right? That is so sweet!"
Thank you with all my heart
Sherry
