This is mainly a lower body and shoulders workout. No biceps, which is fine, I get it - it's an isolation exercise and all that, but I like working my biceps. Also very little chest and triceps work, and nothing for the back. So, for me it's not really a total body workout, unless I just missed the boat on how Lalo worked these muscle groups.
I don't mean to rain on anyone's parade. Just thought I'd add my two cents to help anyone who is on the fence to get off - one way or the other.
Well you sure helped me get off the fence.
I was still deciding on this one, but I prefer to work all my muscle groups in one workout. For example if I do a split workout I can't guarantee if I will go back and do the other half. I especially like working my biceps, chest and triceps too, so it is total body all the way.

Just so I'm not misunderstood when I say Lalo "gives himself a shake"....this is what I mean:

Also, I've got to say that I feel totally worked out with Lalofit. There are some lunges where you hold the weights in a curl position...an isometric hold for the biceps...and mine were burning. There are a number of core exercises which include the lower back, as well as push ups for upper back and chest....and those burpees!

Thanks for clarifying the 'shaking' business, Adam.
Very helpful, though it's not what I had in mind at first, either.

I'll just chime in and agree with what Adam said -- even though there's no traditional back work, I did lalo yesterday and I have DOMs in my lower back this morning. Also, just under my ribs is really sore from that core work!

Yes, he does look quite hot. He's sweating and everything. Maybe they should have turned on the air conditioning for him.

Agreed. This DVD can be as hard as you make it. Those slow push ups are killers, and though there are no biceps curls in the workout, there are plenty of moves that will work your biceps good. I'm very happy that I bought this DVD.

Ok you ravers, thanks a lot cause I just purchased this.
Now, inquiring minds want to know: what weight(s) dumbbells do you use with it?

For most of the workout 5lbs and a couple of times up to 6lbs but I was erring on the side of caution until I get to know this workout.
