I also have a Wave master filled with sand. I get a very good use out of it. I use it not just for heavy bag DVDs but every DVD that has punches or kicks in it. Tapout, Insanity even DreamBody, etc. I discovered that there is a huge difference between pretending or actually kicking or punching something. You use so much more force for the real kicks and punches.
I bought mine on Craigslist for 40 bucks, can't beat that!

Found another place where it's on sale for $239, but it says there's an additional $10 in shipping - not sure if that means on top of regular shipping. Just thought I would tempt anyone else who is easily influenced (like me!) lol

Macska - what an awesome deal of $40!!

The amazon price changes once in a while. Only about 3 weeks ago, I got the XXL Century Wavemaster for $249 shipped.

I just ordered regular size one ($109.99) http://www.blackbeltshop.com/original_wavemaster.htm

Actually my husband has XXL Wavemaster in the basement and I tried to convince him to move it to my workout area (2nd floor), but he did not want to move it. After trying at the store, I realized that regular size is better for me, since I want to be able to move it around easily. I am a small person and I think regular size is more manageable for me. Maybe you want to try at the store to see if you really want to have XXL.
