I got Firm Vol. 1 a few years after it was released. Had a few Jane Fonda before that. When I was a teenager I made a mixed tape of Biily Joel and Elton John and made up my own routine. I’m 52 now.

I jogged some in high school, but never consistently. I bought a Joanie Greggains record in 1982 and have been exercising ever since.

I began in '83 with 20:Minute Workout on tv, and weight training as a gym elective in school. Bought a Jane Fonda video once we had a vcr ( 1987?), and then became more consistent in late 1997 when a friend introduced me to The FIRM. I've never missed a month of since then, for which I'm very grateful. Exercise kept me sane & focused through some pretty bad times, even during illness and injury. So grateful!

It all started 38 years ago when I was 15 years old. I got Jane Fonda's workout on vinyl. What a happy day!!! My best friend and I had so much fun.

30 years for me!! Hard to believe really. I started paying attention to my body after a nasty ectopic pregnancy with emergency surgery. I had FIT TV plus a very convincing infomercial for Buns of steel platinum 2000. I was hooked. And hubby got me the VHS set and a step so I could do the Buns of steel workouts. I was using a box!!

My earliest memory related to "working out" was seeing a doctor for a knee injury, and he set me up with a strength training program, using gym machines. I was so excited that yippee! as a girl, I could go to the "gym" !!! That was 1978. (42 years ago!)

I'm shocked to realize it's been 28 years for me! I started really working out in 1992 with a (very cheap) stairmaster. I climbed stairs forever, and then in '95 I was at a Suncoast Video (lol) and bought Karen Voight's "Your Personal Best". Did that, a few other Karen videos, and taped Crunch episodes on Fit TV until I found VF and a whole new world opened up. There are definitely days that I've thought about just quitting, but I've been consistent for 25 years and I'm planning on keeping it up!

a long time! I'm 73 now. I started with TV (yoga, hooked on aerobics, Joanie Greggains Morning Stretch), books and magazine articles before VHS was invented. Exercise classes at the Y when I was in my 20's. VHS, CDs, audiocassette tapes. Discovered VF 20 years ago. DVDs. I have a Silver Sneakers gym membership but don't go. I swim at the town pool, or did before the pandemic closed it. Barre studio member, but I'm not going back until the pandemic is over. And contradancing (my avatar is from a contradance); looking forward to social dancing being safe again.
No streaming, still enjoy DVDs.
