I can't imagine...we are really spoiled in my area with plenty of stores. Sherry

The graph on the Georgia state website shows it going down. However, it also says it's there is a 14 day window for reporting case results.

This non-partisan site is a good reference (one of many): https://www.covidactnow.org/us/ga I've been watching the counties that reopened in my State ---that were adjacent to "high rate" counties that remain closed---turn red over the last week. I live very close to DC so my county has been a hot spot from March and from what I've observed, people are complying with the rules while they are in the County. The numbers are improving slightly. Sadly, the highest infection rates in my County are highest in the lower income zip code areas (more shared housing, folks who are in essential service industries, etc). The CDC apparently has some new info on how this virus is spread, the human being factor appears to be the primary source of transmission (not surfaces). So social distancing, wearing a mask, washing your hands, etc. remain the best way to keep yourself and others safe. Last edited by suzannaerin; 05-22-20 at 07:01 AM. Reason: correct information |
