Adapting yoga to the BOSU

I've been trying to find more ways to incorporate the BOSU into my workouts--has anyone tried adapting some yoga postures or videos to the BOSU? I would think that yoga and the BOSU would be a good match--but I'm not sure where to begin.

Good heavens... to do what? I can see using a BOSU as a kind of bolster. And I have been known to turn the BOSU upside down, so the blue round part is on the floor, and practice chaturangas that way. But that's not yoga. That's building strength so I can do yoga. I can't think of much else off the top of my head. If you're hoping to use it with balance postures, my thinking is that there are safer ways of enhancing the balance challenge. Could you say more about where you're thinking of taking this? Maybe then someone will come up with something creative and safe to get you going.

I think "Bosu Long and Lean with Chalene Johnson" would be good to begin with!

I was thinking more about different asanas, rather than a sun salutation practice..that would be a bit much. I was thinking of of how the ball has been used for yoga (to enhance stretching or to increase the challenge) and though the bosu might be able to do the same.

Oh, that's right!! I forgot about mentioning that! Jay's BOSU Equilibrium is great version and a longer practice too!

Thanks for the Jay recommendation. My BOSU is underutilized.

It looks like Equilibrium is a mix of pilates & yoga. Pilates with a BOSU is a terrific challenge.
