The gymbox

Just wanted to let everyone know, especially those who may be thinking of subscribing to a streaming service. The Gymbox is running a special from now until 8/5/14. Their regular membership price is usually $10. per month, but they are currently running a "Christmas in July sale". They are offering 3 months for $25. or 12 months for $96.

I've been a member for about two years now, and I love the variety they offer, as well as the instructors. They offer Kickboxing, Strength - including kettlebell classes, Extreme Cardio, Pilates, Yoga, Core, Step, Treadmill, Bare, Dance, Spinning and Easy Does It classes, for those who are beginning, or starting over. I rarely buy DVD's since joining The Gymbox, because they offer soo much variety. They add 1 to 2 new classes in every catergory, every Monday.

They also offer a 15 day free trial. I'd suggest to those who want to try the 15 day trial, to maybe email Customer Service and ask if they will honor the sale price for you if you like the service after trial. That's what I did a couple years ago and they were very accomdating.

How do you get the special? I could sign up for a free trial, but could not find the special offer anywhere.

If you're a a Amazon Prime member, I believe they have a season of the The Gymbox to view for free. Check out their Prime Video section.

I've been a subscriber since May 2011 :-) I LOVE IT! I learned to step with Dana's classes, learned Pilates with Tammy (her advanced classes are AWESOME fat burners), and did my FIRST BARRE CLASS EVER with Ashley E. (the barre workouts are in the Cardio Dance section).

I have gone months without doing any of their workouts, but I will always pay for streaming from them because I love just having it there. It's like I can go to the gym ANYTIME I want and take a gym style class. Their barbell classes are a LOT like BodyPump (the order of the exercises is the same). And one of the step instructors, Jenni, does very similar moves to BodyStep. Shelly/Michelle and Deb are kickboxing instructors. I think Shelly teaches BodyCombat.

Also, #humblebrag ... I was the one who gave them the idea for the 20/20/20 workouts -- they are 20 minutes each of three different genre of training. Like... 20 minutes kickboxing, 20 minutes core, 20 minutes pilates.

I LOVE THE GYMBOX
