exercise bands, tubing and rings

??? how are these for stretching?

are they stronger than the regular resistance bands?

Can you do more with this type of band?

what is your take on them?

also, this new stretch tool. ? anyone have one that can give a review of it?

I have the first one and love it! It's comfortable to grip and I like the loops. That being said, it's not that tall nor good for anything overhead (like a shoulder press). And I'm short! So I use the regular bands for that.

can't you hold it in any place more easily than having the band, make marks on your hands? I find when I use the flat ones.I don't like the pull between my thumb and forfinger.

I also have this fear that the band will pop and smack me in the face.

The first one looks a lot like the stretchy band that came with Leslie Sansone's Miracle Miles set. If it is a dupe, then I love it.

It's stronger than the lighter stretchy bands but not as strong as the heavier ones.

I'm rather intrigued by the second one you link to.

Yes, it's much nicer to hold and more comfortable!

I am also. Seeing as we can’t feel the difference on amazon bands I don’t know a good one from one that is not.

I like the thought of the second one because it sure won’t pop. But I won’t be able to do the exercise of when you stand on the band and do bicep curls.

I hope someon has tried that other one.

The second one isnt stretchy, just for gripping right? It looks like you could do the same thing by holding onto two ends of a towel or a stronger fabric resistance loop, or maybe a Pilates ring, any of which would have multiple uses.

I do have a Pilates ring and a strap, the one that doesn’t stretch, it’s cloth and one that is like a figure 8 that is stretchy,

Yes I do recall using a towel with one of huckabees workouts.

When they showed how you can massage yourself and cradle your head and do those pull downs pull ups , made it interesting. They are only 4-5$ on eBay.
