I haven't bought a lot of new stuff yet in '08 but I did like

Amy Bento's Slo Mo (I liked the variations on traditional weight training)

I didn't like:

Star Trainers Strength (Just didn't click with me)

Best - Steve Cotter's and Keith Weber's KB workalong DVDs

I still have a bunch of virgins so I can't say which one is a dud.

Rediscovered: barre workouts, TTapp and Powerstrikes

Best:

My foam roller, which I've been using with Juliana Afram's DVD. I love how the roller forces you to pay attention to form. I find it easier and more fun than the stability ball.

I also recently acquired a bunch of Bodywisdom yoga and pilates DVDs. May not keep all of them and sometimes find the choppiness annoying (varies by video), but I love the versatility.

Jill Miller. Love the tension tune down pressure points CD. I haven't tried all the DVDs of hers I have, but I am constantly amazed by her.

Worst:

Ellen's SlimSculpt. I probably could have predicted it wouldn't be my thing, but I got a little too swept up by the bandwagon (and I do like some of her other releases). I haven't given up on it yet, though.

Deb Dobbin's Spirit of Vinyasa Flow. I think this is an excellent DVD but a little too advanced for me right now. Maybe some day.

undecided:

too many DVDs that I haven't tried or barely tried. I don't think I'll be buying much in the next few months.

Best -- Christi Taylor's Fit to Dance. It's her best work since the Heavenlies!

Worst -- Prevention Drop it With Dance. I love dance workouts, but this one just didn't click!

Best:
My weight bench! (How could I even have thought that a step could take the place of one!).
Slanted risers
Gilad's Express workouts
New weighted vest for walking
Tracey's Walking strong
P90X+

Not decided on yet, but thought I'd like them more than I have so far:
My CIA purchases (Gay's and Amy's)
Amy's other KB workout
Kelly Coffey-Meyer's workout
Patricia Moreno's newest KB workout (it's growing on me a bit though)
Tracey's Parts series

Waste of my money:
Amy Bento's Slo-Mo

Best so far:

AOS Providence, Firepower and Newport
Kettlebells
In the Ring
Hi/Lo Knockdown

Worst purchases

Kettlebell Goddess - This is a good DVD, don't get me wrong, but it's way to basic for me. I'll end up giving it to a friend who wants to learn kettlebells.

I have a lot of new ones that I'm not prepared to judge yet, but so far I'm happy with:
Gilad Express Workouts
CIA's bought during the pre-sale: Absolute Kickboxing and Amazing Hot Step. So far, I like both of these from last year better than the newer ones I got.
Michelle Dozois Your Best Body Circuit - on lots of worst lists, I see, but I like it.

Not a good fit: Denise Austin Burn Fat Fast Cardio Blast - passed along to my sister who likes Denise, so not a waste

Best:
Gilad's Express workout dvd set - absolutely fabulous and so worth the purchase!!
Star Trainers Strength - I like the variety of the different trainers. I have found on my light days I can work just the upper body on these workouts and still get a great workout.

Undecided:
Element Yoga - Have only done it a couple times but do like the set, instructor. I don't know if I like the full workout but I do enjoy certain portions of it.

Worst:
Nothing yet. I haven't really purchased many dvds yet this year.
