Question Have you saved your old Collage catalogs?

My oldest one is from 2000. I probably have most of the issues from then on. I'd keep them because I have and still trade for older workouts sometimes.

Remember the "If you don't order soon, you will stop receiving these catalogs" sticker threat? They kept send them even after I stopped ordering from Collage.

Who would have thought that the Winter 2014 catalog would be the last?

Who else has saved many of the Collage catalogs?

Alta I have all of them except for I think 3 (hard to tell when sometimes they would change the issue name) since 1996. It and having some VHS exercise and movies are really the worst part of my clutter collection and they only take up about 12 inches of bookshelf space. The VHS OTOH well...

I have a few. I loved how they broke the w/o down by minutes, by impact, by level - everything! And the clips! How am I going to know what I am buying without that?!?

TotalFitnessDVDs.com has longer clips and breakdowns in descriptions as well. They also have reviews, which I plan on trying to make sure I start writing again. Can't lose Mary too!!!

I have several years' worth starting in 1998, all dog-eared from looking things up as I went through different phases. I wish I'd kept the very first one I ever received, which was on newsprint with 2-color printing. I'd never realized that workouts came in beginner, intermediate and advanced before then.

i have, since 1996.

i even have one that a co-worker gave me before 1996 - it's shorter, like around 6" tall? i didn't order from them at the time.

i wonder if someone scanned these things and left them on the internet?

i use them when i see something at the used bookstore and wonder whether i'm interested in getting it. the catalogs released between the original issue date and when Collage started their on-line catalog could contain valuable data about workouts that might not be archived online.

Ha ha. Normally I would have thought "What? Who would do that?" But I googled recently for old Banana Republic catalogs - remember when they were about all things safari? And someone really did scan those and put them online. It was great reading through them!

I got the Collage catalogs in the late 80's / early 90's, but I could have sworn they were more like a newspaper than a catalog. I don't know though, those were the college years and there was lots of drinking those years. My brain might just be broken.

Some of their old websites are saved on the Internet Archive Wayback Machine:
https://web.archive.org/web/*/http:/...llagevideo.com

I used some of the info when attempting to put together a database of my workouts that somehow never got finished.

I wish I had saved them!!!!! Collage catalogs fell victim to my periodic decluttering frenzies. Now I don't even have one as a souvenir.

I sure hope they'll be scanned at some point--digital is better than nothing!

I used to, but haven't for quite some time. I wish I would have kept one now.
