Opinions on Cathe Live for Seniors 1 & 2

I'm almost 70 (Eek!) and I'm definitely slowing down and having more health problems. So I'm curious about the two Cathe Lives for Seniors. Anyone done either of these? Opinions?

Also, any suggestions for more beginner workouts?

If you enjoy Cathe, her "body fusion" DVD is great for beginners, and I think seniors can do this with light weights no problem. The exercises are also short counting around 20 minutes without warm up/cool down.

Ricka - thanks so much but I have most of Cathe's DVD's, including that one. I'm more interested in Cathe Live downloads right now but, again, thank you so much for your suggestion!

Man Karen,

did you have to show me that?

I don't identify with anyone in that class. They look like they went to a nursing home and asked for volunteers .

is there more to that 13 minute one on youtube or is there more?

Cheryl - I don't identify with a lot of those people either but as I watched the clips, it looks like Cathe really pushes them. So I thought they might be good workouts at a lower level. They look more "advanced" than most senior workouts I've seen. I think both of the actual workouts are more like an hour total.

that is some work. When I see myself doing it, I know they are feeling it.

So this is only available at her web site for a download?

Glad to hear you don't identify with any of them also)

Yes. I've already bought a few of her "regular" workouts as downloads but I'm curious about the two senior ones.

okay. thank you. I couldn't do a hour long of her energy. Doesn't appeal to me any more. She should have called i slow and easy, non aerobic. Better title.

I resent the fact the Senior DVDs always show only q-tips. We all don't look like that just cause we are seniors.
