Typically, he just rolls his eyes at whatever health or nutrition stuff I am looking into at the moment. He actually wants to do the juice reboot.

We are going to discuss it in depth tonight to see if this is something he really wants us to do together. Stay tuned...
That's awesome news!!! It's so good that the movie is inspiring so many people to make positive changes in their lives. I hope that he decides to start too. But I'm sure that when he sees how good you're feeling and looking, he'll do it too!

Second, I'm becoming more and more convinced of the value of planning things (especially difficult things) in general. I've been listening to reports on "decision fatigue" and related concerns, and I really think that the more choices we give ourselves, the harder it is to consistently choose well.
This for me is a huge issue. I tell myself I can wing-it all of the time, but it backfires including fitness. I have so many choices with food and exercise that I get overwhelmed. I need a little more structure and I am hoping that as a result, I won't burn out or overload so quickly.

I have not watched that, but DH said to me this morning that he also wants to make some changes. He thinks he needs to make some changes is now open to trying new things. It's always been difficult to cook for him and now he's starting to see some benefits of change. I'm happy to have my support system taking these steps with me!

I want to thank Sue for starting this thread! It really started to get the gears turning in my head and some serious changes are coming as a result. I'm turning 30 next yr and I don't want to carry some of these issues into a new decade. I'm reading Tosca's Recharged as we speak and just bought all of her cookbooks. There was a time when I was eating like this naturally and the sugar/treats were just that, treats and not the norm. Today because of stress eating, they've been my "rule" not my exception. So again, thanks for starting the thread, it's been a wonderful eye opener and a change agent.
