Okay. Every time I see this thread title, I have the same thought - and I'm going to finally post it ...

Plain old soap and water works well for me.

Naah, that would still leave traces of blood. You need to scrub with bleach so it won't show up in the luminol.

By George I think I've Got It

Well, almost. Finally got a chance to try out all your helpful tips last night.

And I did it! Only a few times, and really only with my left hand, oddly. (I'm very right handed). The rest of the times it was almost but not quite,and my wrists are as usual banged up a bit.

But now I have a sense that it can be done, I just need practice.
