Some other vigorous low impact workouts.

In addition to the ones mentioned here, there's also:

1) NIA's Global Unity. Strange instructor, delightful music, free-form movements that tend to be pretty vigorous. The movements are similar to those in Urban Tai Chi, but they're presented in a more entertaining way.
2) Victoria Johnson's Power Cardio. Available from her website. Less dancy than her other workouts. Video has badly fitting cover.
3) The Powerstrike kickboxing videos. (I have Powerstrike 2.) Order from CK Sales.
4) Gilad's Step Workout. A very vigorous step workout that can be done low impact.
5) Charlene Prickett's Low Impact, High Intensity. Beautiful scenery, low impact, very intense -- but Charlene isn't everyone's cup of sweat. Some people really like her, others find her workouts kind of dull.

I pretty much

only do low impact. I don't mind Charlene I also like Karen Voight's low impact, the newer Firms' cardio's are low impact & pretty good, too. I agree that the Powerstrike's (Millenium) series are great low impact, too.

HTH! You're right, not a ton of options! Deanne

2nd vote for Urban Tai Chi

I second the vote for Urban Tai Chi. I think it's really fun and totally different from other options out there. Good luck!

cia 9907 boot camp

In contrast to the vfer who posted earlier, i've never done the step portion, but the boot camp is fun, although i could go eithr way on the 1200 pushups. this was the first boot camp i'd ever done.
